I love compromises:

Let's make this a Win-Win-Win

Cheesy Doritos: Don't post potentially-season-relevant details about an episode a) until the next day or b) unless you use spoilers (hint: Option B is easier). Of course, you are free to share non-vital non-season-relavant information (such as jokes, quotes, opinions, predictions, etc) that won't make someone go ARGHHHH THAT IS SOMETHING I WANTED TO FIND OUT FOR MYSELF

Myke: You must make a T-shirt with Cheesy Doritos' avatar on it, and walk around in it

ASE: Stop being so gooddamn good at compromises

or cheesy doritos you can just shut the fuck up and use spoilers for major plot points instead of still talking.

anyway, good episode i thought! whenever they read back anything michael said i thought it was pretty excellent, and the ending was pretty good too.

You know what's really sad... I already have one with basically his avatar on it from like grade 5 that I keep in a box with all of my favourite outfits pokemon stuff.

man i haven't used a strikeout in a long time

edit: also cheesy doritos i am being pretty reasonable. my original post wasn't meant to CALL YOU OUT just to help other people. you blew this waaaay out of proportion.

also(2) half an hour is minutes

edit2: also(3) back on topic, it was a really good episode. Michael really proved how immature he is, like at the lunch table with toby, which was hilarious. Actually, toby was overall hilarious in this episode. His giggling made me laugh so hard.

This was my favorite episode of the season. Absolutely hilarious. Some of the best "That's What She Saids" and the greatest your mom joke (your mom is so fat she could eat the internet). I loved every second of it.

Yeah, so, the Office is probably coming back soon hopefully, and I had a question. Up until several days ago, I had always regarded Jim as the main character of the show. However, a friend of mine said Michael was. I thought this was absurd, however, I later introduced my sister to the show and asked the same answer, and she said the same thing. This got me thinking! I had always thought Jim was so obviously the most developed, but after re-watching some of the old episodes, Michael does get a LOT of screentime! I just was wondering what you guys thought.

It's an ensemble show. Steve Carell is clearly the break out star actor of the show, in terms of billing and what it's done for his career, but the lead character....that's a little more tricky. Michael, Jim, Pam, and maybe Dwight are the most prominent characters, but to say that any of them was the main character....I think it would be a bit of a disservice to the others.

Also, I don't think the Office is coming back anytime soon. The WGA strike still isn't over, and the season's pretty much shot now anyway. Maybe they'll move up the 2008-2009 TV season, but I wouldn't expect new episodes of anything that's finished out its episode order until Summer at the earliest.

Maybe they'll throw something together for May sweeps, but that's probably only going to happen if they can make a breakthrough within the month. Right now it's looking like the Upfronts are going to be cancelled, and I wouldn't depend on much scripted television being used for sweeps, either, the way things are going now.

I read that they've fired the production crew (everyone) for this season, so yeah, it's done. Hopefully shit will get resolved and it'll be back next season.

MAJOR BUMP

Ok so THE OFFICE IS BACK starting this Thursday Apr. 10, 2008 at 9PM

[blockquote]GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER - Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) find they have run out of excuses and are forced to go to Jan (Melora Hardin) and Michael's (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) house for dinner. When Andy (Ed Helms) and Angela (Angela Kinsey) are also invited to dinner, Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) jealousy gets the best of him. Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Paul Lieberstein, Mindy Kaling and Creed Bratton also star. [/blockquote]

Don't watch this interview video if you don't want a major Angela spoiler:

So basically if you watch all of the interviews on www.nbc.com/The_Office you'd see that the actors are all convinced that this new episode's script is the funniest ever. We'll see about that....

Here's an actual preview of the episode:

I AM FUCKING EXCITED ARE YOU FUCKING EXCITED

edit: Also, there will be a live blog with the writers/producer right after the show at 9:30 http://blog.nbc.com/theoffice/

Hahaha, this is all so akward. Poor Jim almost got away too, funny that he would abandon Pam like that.

Yeah... Easily best episode I've seen in all of Season 4. I guess this strike paid off in the end, as I'd rather have this quality and a half-year wait than continue with those god awful episodes from the beginning.

I loved how as you went through the episode, you gradually saw

The best scene in the whole episode was when they walked into the bedroom and the camera was still set up. I laughed so fucking hard there.
