It seems that L-Block from Tetris is winning the character battle they keep having at GameFAQs, the one where Cloud or Link win each time. I don't really care for GameFAQs or their stupid polls, but seeing L-Block ahead was really nice.... (even though it's probably a joke by some lame community like somethingawful or 4chan or whatever)

I know this is probably a bad topic but..... come on, it's L-Block! I doubt anyone actually thought it'd go that far, and this would probably upset all those people who participate in the voting scores contest or whatever, as they all probably have Link or Cloud as the winner. Take that fanboys! (and we all know people who vote for any of the big characters probably do it for the game, not the character. Cloud is one of the worst character in FF7, for example)

I always favored the I block myself, but it's not in the competition so you go for the next best thing.
It's just pretty stupid how you always have the same winner. If you want to have a laugh or two go on some Zelda or Final Fatasy boards on GameFAQs and see the fanboys complaining how L-Block is not a character or how the joke has gone too far!

Man, that was always my favourite block too. It was just so... universally useful.


GameFAQs character battles are a joke though, because as already stated, the same cliche characters win every time. If that shit was held at GW, the members here would probably be smart enough not to vote for the characters who are "cool" on the outside but are actually pretty dull and lame.

L-Block is winning because several GF boards (a lot of the hidden ones mostly) decided to get a character not Link/Cloud/Sephiroth to win. And they chose L-Block.
