Good thing it has widescreen support. I was worried for some time because I've hooked up my Wii to a widescreen TV.

And that DK song seems...ok I guess.

wow

they really are scraping the barrel now :/
Seeing how they still have two months to fill without spoiling any of the major secrets, we're probably going to be stuck with a lot of lame updates.  It's still good news, just not much to get excited over.

Wario's final smash is... Gay. On many levels.

I liked the DK song though, I don't think the updates are all that bad.
The only thing dumber than an argument on the Internet is the same argument in real life.

I like how terrible Wario's FS is. It fits him perfectly.

"Even after becoming Wario-Man, you control him as you normally would. And he doesn’t unleash any overwhelmingly powerful attacks."

That's pure classy right there.

What I'm wondering is whether or not Wario's Final Smash will be like Samus's Zero Suit transformation. I was talking to someone just earlier who said that a ZSS-type transformation is more likely to happen because apparently, in the WarioWare games, Wario transforms into Wario-Man after eating garlic, but transforms back after eating a bomb. (or something like that)

Well, I personally don't believe in the guy and I think that it's more likely to be a temporary form, but the possibility is still there to consider I suppose.

Not much point in having a super alter-ego when your name is part of the superhero name.  I don't know about you guys, but I'm definitely going to be riding the bike as Wario-man.

I like it. It seems like he's much more powerful, but he's not insane to control or anything like Giga Bowser or Hyper Sonic. This probably won't cause as many KO's / damage but it'll be damn fun, and that's what Wario is about.

Ooh, an update I was looking forward to.

Only thing I'm a little sad about is the Meta-Knight vs Kirby event. I was really hoping you'd play as Kirby with perma-Link's Hat :/.

Hey, maybe that will be one, too.  Last time, there were 51 Event Matches.  Who knows what fun challenges they'll cook up for us this time (hopefully no more Trophy Tussles, those ones were the worst).

Two Kirby vs Meta-Knight ones? I kinda hope not. If they do that they'd probably have more similar ones and that's boring :/.

You never know. That would be a cool event. Recreating a SNES Kirby battle.
That event was just keeping Kirby off the Halberd which happened on the SNES(I think.)
Sword Kirby versus Meta Knight should be one of the final events.
No more trophy tussles. Like halibabica said, they were the worst... I wonder what crazy ass super challenge they'll think up for the final event.

Man I liked the Trophy Tussles. I remember the horns on Majora's Mask were so fucking annoying.

Also really weak update (all of them lately have been) but it's nice to know that some of the cooler stages from Melee will be returning (tournament players rejoice at the inclusion of Final Destination). Even though with the Stage Creator you can recreate them anyway...yeah okay so a really bad update.

I was really hoping to see those stages revamped. It's still a good update for me thanks to the new music the stages are going to get.

I wonder how many stages they'll be bringing back.  Hopefully, they'l have the wisdom to NOT bring back Poke Floats, Icicle Mountain, Big Blue, and Brinstar Depths.  Goddamn, those were awful stages.

I still want to see the Hyrule Castle stage come back from the original game.

Yes, I loved that level.

One thing i'm disappointed with, besides the lackluster updates recently, is that Hyrule Castle looks EXACTLY the same. The textures are still Gamecube-esque, and i'm a little upset that they couldn't at least upgrade the appearance of it.

The yoshi, dk, and mario stages were all updated graphically and somewhat gameplay-wise.
