Perhaps, if it does freeze time, the freeze breaks for a person who is attacked.  So, you can only attack each of your opponents once before time starts flowing again.

Haha, wow! A Metal Gear Assist Trophy! I was waiting for one of these to come. I don't think I could imagine anyone other than Gray Fox being an assist. But they're definitely right, he would have been such an awesome playable character too...

And by the way, don't forget to scroll down a bit, it's a double update. They tell us how to grab and throw this time around.

Cool mono-eye.

And I guess Shield Grabs are the new standard now.  Also, I guess I missed a lot.  That's what I get for sleeping in on a work day.

NEAT!  Maybe we'll see some Sonic characters as Assist Trophies, too!

And, I wonder if we'll still be able to grab if we aren't shielding...

Grey Fox looks much more interesting to play that that Snake guy.

Oh God yes, Gray Fox is the most awesome Assist Trophy I've seen yet!

Man, they really must not like the old colour scheme. They've changed the Fire Flower colour, Beam sword colour, and now the Shield colour. "Then pursue with combo attacks!" That picture looks odd.

I'm happy that Gray Fox is in the game, it would have been better if he were playable but I can live with him as an Assist. Apparently the Japanese page has additional quotes from him and mentions him talking briefly with Snake if he is on the stage.

Wow, I've been gone for a few days and everything turns to shit. Man, Steel is an ass (he mentioned me specifically in his little rant. I feel so proud). Sorry for bringing it up again. Just felt that I had to say that. don't ban me

On topic: Gray Fox looks like a pretty sweet AT and so does the beam saber. I've seen it actually get long in one of the Brawl videos but I thought my mind was just playing tricks with me. It's a pretty nice new addition.

The last few updates were pretty lackluster imo. I realize they can't come out with amazing updates each time, but I'm hoping we'll see something cool shortly.

You don't know who Solid Snake is?

And they single handedly ruined one of the plot-twists in MGS with this update.  :fogetsad:

No doubt we'll see a Knuckles Assist Trophy or something.

So, this Assist Trophy is cool I guess? I'm not too into the whole Metal Gear scene, so i'm not sure. The shield grabs I knew about, though. Of course, there are 'straight grabs.' With the Wiimote sideways, the minus button is grab without shielding first, so... Not a big deal, this was in Melee and the original as well.

Wow I never knew about this. I always used the straight grab. This might be more useful actually since now I know how to grab from a shield. :)
(previously i tapped the shield button to grab, I don't know if there was a separate button for this before)

The Z button did do a shield, but the main shield buttons were L and R I believe. I never use Shield-Grabs, but I never Shield really so whatever.

I wouldn't fully believe that guy's english when it comes to details since it's almost worse then mine.

The site is translated by someone else, though I suppose his translations should be shaky. The dude was at E for All or something, and mentioned that everyone should be checking the dojo because of how much work it is for him.

On the shield thing though, the Z-button has always been hard for me, and so I've never used grabs. I guess I'll just be that much more awesome when Brawl comes around now that I can GRAB.

This pretty much decides that Ness is not in the game, since Lucas has all of his moves and there are no clones.

You could shield grab in Melee as well if that's what you're referring to. Otherwise, you'll still be using z to grab in Brawl if you decide to use the GC controller, unless you shield grab constantly, which works but is slower than a standard grab and is harder to pull off while running.

DarkNecrid: You forgot to include that Lucas has almost all of Ness's moves.
