There is something that I would like to call Skull Kid Syndrome. Skull Kid Syndrome is the term I use to describe a character whose best chances for getting into a Smash Bros. game as a playable character failed, and for the following game have less popularity and a lesser chance of getting in due to being a one-shot character.

I would use Roy more and more and would learn how to utilize all of his moves. Pretty soon, I mained him along with Samus. However, Roy’s influence on me did not stop there, Roy also made me get interested in the Fire Emblem series. Once I picked up a Fire Emblem game for the first time, I instantly fell in love with it. Fire Emblem would later become one of my favorite series ever. If it had not been for Roy, I probably would have never have picked up a Fire Emblem game, as well as many other people. I understand that Roy’s purpose was mainly as an advertisement, however, he holds a special place in my heart for getting me into what is arguably one of Nintendo’s best series.

I have long contemplated whether to leave SmashBoards after the reveal of the roster. Since both Ridley and Roy did not make it, there is no board really for me. However, I might decide to stick around for two things. One would be that there are a lot of friends that I have made on SmashBoards and I think they might be disappointed if I left. Two, I feel as though I failed the Knights of Elibe (a Roy fan group here on SmashBoards) due to Roy no longer being a playable character (though this was really out of my control, I do feel a guilt that I did not do enough to change people’s opinion on Roy even though I am the leader of the organization).

Six years was a long time. I went through a lot of hell between these six years, and I sure most of you have as well.

I know he didn't type it up and I understand that it was meant to be a joke. I'm not "offended" by his posts, but I hate how he comes into every topic and tries to derail it. Because of that, I've learned to overlook most of his posts.

Though I wasn't too particularly fond in using the characters from that specific franchise in Smash much at all ever since the N64 game.  But it's "him" - so yeah, exceptions shall be made. :P

Is anybody actually seriously dissapointed with this roster list? I mean, really, think about all the new characters added? I mean it's pretty awesome, although it did feel slightly dissapointing at first, simply because I've come to expect half the new comers, like Pokemon Trainer, Wario and Dedede. They've been announced for a while now, so they feel like nothing new, when they actually are.

Unfortunately, it does seem that Wolf is a modified Fox based on the info I've been reading/seeing on Neogaf.  His Final Smash is the Landmaster with a different color scheme and his blaster is more powerful and the laser is altered among other things.

It doesn't happen very often that I can't tell what's going on in a fighting game. But this one is kind of hard to follow at times.
