I'm going to pull another Azn and take the whole thing in another direction again. Mirthless had some good ideas but it will take a long time to implement them. I only offered to help because I want to break the curse, not to work on the game for two or more weeks myself. After Azn's chapter you can't really try to get the story back together without saying it was all a dream, alternatively you can just build on that chapter. I'll do the latter and make a really short chapter that concludes this game.

I'll disappoint a lot of people expecting an epic encounter with that gender-confused darkness god or a grand resolution of some sort, but on the bright side, the game will be finished tomorrow. Tomorrow, not next year. That's a good thing, right? Initially I thought of just adding "THE END" just after the last chapter and release it as is, but that's kinda mean for all the effort put into it.

PS. I have enjoyed the game for the most part. You guys did a very good job. Chain Games are bound to get messy, but this one is somewhat coherent (although I'm still very confused). Getting rid of the DBS was the best part, and adding those faces into all the chapters must have taken a lot of time for Erave.

I just don't see Sharlene saving the world. She is the least developed character in a game of poorly developed characters and I don't see any motive for her to do anything. She wasn't supposed to be a team player and wasn't supposed to care that much for anyone, they didn't give her reasons to. Silent Song might do it, perhaps, but he's already dead or evil or both, I just lost track. It seemed that David doesn't belong to the game's world, it was more like our world. Also I don't see why they need an elaborate trick to recover Sharlene's powers, why would she have them anyway? It's a forced conclusion and it'd take a lot of time to make it work, I just can't do it. If anyone else is willing to, I don't mind passing on the game, but if you want the game released let me do it and at least we won't need this topic anymore.

I guess it'd have been a cool chapter if you did it the way you wanted Mirthless, but you didn't. Sorry!

Mirthless can you upload now? You can upload the finished version later when it's done I can always transfer my save to the new version.
