I was thinking about this the other night, and some things didn't make sense to me. Now, while I think I could kill someone if the circumstances were right (like, it was absolutely necessary), but if I killed someone (thereby possibly becoming a criminal) that wouldn't make me a fucking RAPIST. How were all of these criminals they put her in jail with rapists, as well? Is every criminal in Brazil a rapist, automatically? And what kind of fucking jail cell holds 20 people for more than a day? There are holding cells, yes, but usually those are under close police supervision and hold no more than five people for court dates and the like.
well, its brazil, so you probably shouldn't apply OUR PRISON AND POLICE RULES to theirs, cause they probably don't have them.
As for the rapists thing...
Imagine if you've been in jail for lets say, 20 years. That is
7,305 days without any sexual contact with a woman, hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't seen a woman in that amount of time really. The prisoners that she got thrown in with were probably sexually starved, their libido's through the roof, etc.
They are probably thinking to themselves "FUCK YEAH A GIRL LETS GET HER!!!" because, whats the worst thats going to happen? They get more jail time? For them, its probably worth it.
You don't have to be a rapist, or a previous rapist, to rape someone. Likewise, you don't have to be a cannibal or a previous cannibal to eat human flesh, you just have to be put in a situation that would allow it, two different situations in this case, but still....when you're starved for something, and if you've been in prison for that long, you're broken down already, nothing else really matters to you, and I'm sure since its Brazil their prisons are shit (our prisons in America are godlike really, we pamper our prisoners too much actually imho), so they are even more broken down. They don't give a fuck what they do, as long as they get some tangible benefit, its probably worth it!
just imo though, so take that with a grain of salt.
