I think it's about time we get the next chapter in the Kingdom Hearts saga. I really hope this one clears up a few of the loose ends from the previous games, like Scrooge McDuck's (magic?) crystal, Goofy's connection to the Dark Keyblade, and the silhouette that looked SUSPICIOUSLY like Minnie Mouse in Sephiroth's castle. I also hope we get to see a conclusion to Barret and Donald Duck's rivalry, but I think that's just wishful thinking at this point.

By the way, has anyone noticed that Ven's hair color is the EXACT same as Pluto's? That seems more than just a little suspicious to me.

I honestly think Squenix is purposefully using bad titles of the series. The game itself (KINGDOM HEARTS) sounds like a badly translated engrish anime so they're probably just rolling with it and playing along.

That's true, I hadn't really thought about how bad of a title Kingdom Hearts is, it's one of those things you've heard everywhere and never really thought about.

LOL it's hard to decipher what this all means. You can bet it is something gay like Ven is a shadow of Sora's inner self in the past through some marooned image amid the space/time continuum and that you play as Roxas in a middlin stage between now and then and here and what so that it all comes to the final battle where you can fix things by closing the Kingdom Hearts.

There I solved it.

EDIT: I will be pre-ordering this game regardless, because KH is tight.

Nobody actually said which platform this is for? If it's PSP, then the graphics are at least pretty impressive.

I actually really liked the original Kingdom Hearts because it was fun to explore the areas and pound hordes of enemies. Some of the boss fights were epic, too. The second game didn't really grab me, but I would still probably play this.

But I'm with Chef; the writing is absolutely the stupidest shit ever and I can't believe that anyone bothers to take it seriously. I'm certain that Nomura or whoever makes the decisions inserts random nonsense, and that in the original Japanese versions it's completely hillarious and everyone is in on the joke.

They're not gonna make the story conclusion all like "THE WORLD IS ACTUALLY A DREAM", right?
It's the only thing I can think of when I think of something like "Birth By Sleep".

I am pretty sure it's in reference to those gay pods that Sora and crew go into at the end of CoM.

So yeah it's probably a dream, or some sort of OFFSHOOT REALITY based off of sora/roxas' dream.

This is in reference to my last post but it's been too long for me to edit it so

I was thinking that since this is a prequel, and from the video, the world seems to be PRETTY DESTROYED as a baron wasteland. I kind of think that they are going to try and make it so the roxas (Ven?) we see here gets into one of those pods/just falls asleep and has dreamed up the reality we've seen in the last three games.

It's already convoluted as shit so I don't think they can really do more harm by adding a plot like that.

If you ask me, the Horned King, angered at the fact that Disney has completely ignored him for the past 20 years, returns from the pit of the black cauldron and wreaks hell on the world. Afterwards, Captain Jack Sparrow and Peter Pan make out while Bagheera, Jaffar, and Rafiki ponder over how their characters are blatant racial stereotypes.
