final fantasy IV was a really awful game. granted it was supposedly a GAMING FIRST in many ways but jesus it was horrible. i'm really not interested in trying this at all!
I sorta feel like this, and sorta don't. FF4 (the original versions) had possibly the dumbest dialogue ever and the coherence of the story seemed lacking at parts. It was also pretty short, iirc. But, even though it was all that stupid and all that, I couldn't help but feel like it was OVERLY EPIC, and there are LOTS of things about it I love, while I know it was pretty retarded anyway. That being said, just because of those weird mixed feelings I get playing it, it's my favorite FF out of the bunch. I also love the music in it. (my two fave songs are from it, fuck ff7 LOL ONE WING DICKHOLE. this game has the prologue song(which is used in other games like the wii cc that is upcoming i think and the title screen for ff12) and
zeromus. on that topic, zeromus is the most pointless of all final bosses ever. HEY BTW I WAS THE REAL VILLAIN ALL ALONG I HAVE NO PURPOSE IN LIFE OTHER THAN JUST MAKING YOU DIE. WHOOOOOOP)
Now, the GBA remake was terrible. It was worse than the SNES version in alot of ways, and worse than some RPGMaker games in others. It had a trait similiar to terrible rm2k games: at some points, you could step on a tile repeatedly and the event would take place again and again. Anyway..
Now this. I did expect it to be SMARTER and more PROFESSIONAL than in the past, and from what I hear, it is. I had some trouble adapting to the style at first, but I feel good about it now. I do hope the story makes alot more sense now. But then again, I wouldn't care so much.
I'm gonna try playing it on emulators, and see if it works good.

Hey on the topic of music, I need to find the soundtrack to this one. And try comparing. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
