Anyway I was wandering around the final dungeon for like two hours and then died against some cheap fight so . . . I don't know I think I am putting this game down. I have beat other versions about 1,000,000 times so while this game was a blast and one of my favorite portable games I really have no impetus to finish the last little bit.

So yeah, what's with the final area of the game jamming the difficulty on overdrive? My people are between Lv. 54 and 58 and I'm getting my butt handed to me and I had no real trouble with the Giant, Sylph's Cave or the Sealed Cave. (Save for those dual Manticore encounters)
