Ohgee ohgee I wuv this game.
Everything seems so perfect.
Everything about this game is just right: The difficulty, the story, the gameplay, and the music...
I especially liked the music in this game. The 16-bit rendition of the Space Jam theme is great!
But... I do have one thing about this game I don't like...
I like icecream.
It's good.
VERY GOOD.

there IS a sequel planned, one dealing with aspects of the Barkleyverse still unexplored. how have Ecto Coolers survived? who is the mysterious Hawkeye? where did the real Ghastly Darklord come from? these are aspects the creators aim to flesh out, as Barkley 2 will have a real, living, breathing world. you will see NPCs going into their homes and coming out of them.

also included: unique food system.

Thank Clispaeth for the fact that there will be a sequel.
Maybe someone will make a fangame some time after this 2-part trilogy is over.
That way, something... Might happen.

Anyway... I played a bit of this... And I'm not so fond of the setting. I hate that whole ghetto "gangsta fo life" thing, and I've never been much of a baseball player. The gameplay however, was better then any fangame I had ever seen. Seriously, those battles, the movements, the reaction thing, really, and this all with Gamemaker. Awesome, that's all I can say. Now the only thing I'd wish for is this gameplay implemented in a classic "Alex goes out to save the world" RPG.

Oh yeah, I think you should refrain from trying to let the actual Charles Barkley know about this. Publicity is nice, but can also be dangerous. The copyrights for using his character don't belong to you.

Oh yeah, I see... Gamefaqs is messed up... Kudos to your game, I really love the gameplay, but to say it's better then Crysis... I wouldn't go that far.

If this game can do it... I don't see why not. I agree this game is far better then the original, but still.

Also, I guess I didn't want to believe it was true. To be honest, I'm getting a little jealous :P

well you gotta remember newer media jumps after being released on any rating site. New movies on IMDB can be in the top 20 movies but eventually fall out. So at some point people are going to stop rating it and it will fall into some relatively set place. It is still impressive though for an indie game

That's what the guys from Chrono Trigger Remake Project said, and look what happened.

This project bears the name from the official games and uses a real life character used in that official game. If Barkley or Accolade found out, this project could easily demanded to be destroyed, or even worse, the creators could get sued.

I'm not sayin this is gonna happen, I'm just saying it's a possibility.
