I'm still in some shocked state man... craziness but the Giants deserved it the way they played defense and shut down the Pats.

Eli played pretty good but I think the defense of the Giants were the real MVPs... Strahan, Pierce, all of em played their hearts out. The blitzes and pressures they put onto Brady was outstanding.

Congrats to the Giants... they fully deserved this win... They prevented history and of the Pats being considered the greatest team ever to play and now finish 18-1 (Still amazing but that one loss hurts the most by far). Looks like some peeps didn't give them enough credit.

I must say though... David Tyree the hero in those crucial plays and the TD. Plaxico got the one in the final minute though on some weak coverage... Think that was Samuel's assignment?

reason 2: there is a despicable guy i know irl whose favorite team is the giants, and the thought of him being happy is unacceptable.

reason 3: i have money on the patriots

somewhere hundley is drunk as shit.

if you watched the game you would know that the giants outplayed the pats. period.

Tom Brady is a great QB. Congrats to Billacheck for ruining their perfect season.

dude brady overthrew the entire game

he played good but not great. unfortunately you try not to play anything less than great in the SUPERBOWL

edit: not taking away from the giants though that defense was sick

Get Randy Moss off the fucking Patriots and get him to a decent team please.

Eli Manning is still a prick (encouraging shit during the Broncos game and directing stuff at Cutler who wasn't pulling any shit) but he was still impressive. Brady was the reason they loss hopefully this will kill the myth that Brady is some amazing quarterback.

sorry for doublepost i missed this

if you actually think this you are fucking retarded

The game was rather incredible. It was made better by the fact I was for the Giants, but it was an incredible game.

I was mainly rooting for the Giants because some fucking article or book or something that the Boston Globe printed was about how the Patroits went 19-0 and had an awesome season (it was printed days before the Superbowl). A little too confident eh? :hmm:

Haha yeah, I mentioned this to my brother yesterday as why the Patriots would lose.

He's a huge Pat fan so he's probably pissed hardcore. I'm upset but eh, 18-1 is still pretty cool.

Apparently not 'amazing quarterback' cool, but what do I know. Breaking numerous single season records is no big.

Congrats on the flaming. Maybe uh you shouldn't be a shitty poster? Disagree with me, call me stupid, but have some fucking substance when you do it.

1. I'm a Vikings fan. Moss is an ex Viking. I want him to be part of a championship team some time in his life. I don't like the Patriots and apparently they can't win a championship with him (he was so underused too).

2. Brady was terrible. I'll give that the protection was terrible, but every pass deep was overthrown. Even the ones he had time on. Yea coaching and the rest of the team have a lot of influence, but Brady wasn't in the game and that's why they lost. And he is also way over-hyped!

3. Manning is a prick, he lacks all the qualities Peyton has that make him a good guy to cheer for.

Terrible or not this game, which I feel he did play kind of shitty, that doesn't change the fact that he is still a VERY amazing quarterback.

Three out of four superbowls isn't bad man. I even mentioned the overthrowing myself in an earlier post.

I flamed you because there is no real way to make an argument that Brady is not an amazing, future hall-of-famer quarterback. The guy's slick as hell, define to me why he'd ever be overrated? Sure he gets plenty of hype and such, but the dude's EARNED it.

Edit: Also of course Moss was underused, he was the last like 6 games. It's because the teams really started getting on him, shutting him down with the double-coverage especially. The guy broke the single season record for receiving TDs, which Brady helped him do by passing to him the ENTIRE regular season.

Brady should have thrown to Moss more, but I think that's more a point to how good the Giants DEFENSE was than a failing on Brady.

I just took a packing peanut bath to try to decrease my depression....

it didn't work

Pass protection fucked the Pats. Giants pass rush was insane.

hopefully this will kill the myth that Brady is some amazing quarterback.
sorry, but you are mistaken. there is no MYTH here. you must be really new to football if you think tom brady is anything but an amazing football player. i've never in my life seen a more CLUTCH, dependable athlete. this guy has an .823 career winning percentage in the playoffs after today's game. .823. for comparison's sake, joe montana's career playoff winning percentage is .696, even though he was undefeated in 4 super bowl appearances. brady would have to lose in the first round of the playoffs every year for the next four years to fall below montana's mark.

i can dig up plenty more numbers to back up how good tom brady is, but i'm not going to waste my time. i REALLY dislike tom brady, but the reality is that the guy could retire RIGHT NOW and still make the hall of fame.

this game wasn't about IS TOM BRADY GOOD OR NOT. this game was about SO IS TOM BRADY THE BEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIME. i don't know how the hell you missed this??????? maybe you should evaluate players by THEIR CAREER and not by watching THEIR WORST GAME

I don't like the Patriots and apparently they can't win a championship with him
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

jesus christ dude come on! this team was fucking four points away from being totally fucking undefeated!

do you seriously not realize that randy moss is in the ABSOLUTE IDEAL SCENARIO?????

I think Tuck should have been MVP instead of Manning :(
on an unrelated note: THIS

everyone had it pretty well figured out that the only way the giants could even come close to the patriots would be if they got to brady. and tuck got to brady.

also
somewhere hundley is drunk as shit.
eh, i didn't really care. didn't even end up watching most of the game, and what little i did watch was in my bedroom completely sober. i had money on the game, sure, but i really dislike both teams. i'll admit that i was really pulling for terrorists to bomb the super bowl
