I still play Burnout 3: Takedown.  For the Xbox.  It's an awesome game - probably in my top 10 or 15.

I'd of loved to say FF6 but , jesus, I couldnt get past the octapus guy in the Theatre.

You are not alone, I am the exact same way. I haven't bought a game in at least a year, and the system I spend most of my time playing is emulated NES games.
