I was thinking about this particular thing during the episode. I think you're right.
The only thing dumber than an argument on the Internet is the same argument in real life.

It makes sense, I was going by his reference to not wanting to go see Aaron and how it was the same as what he said in he parking garage after the trial. I'd probably have to watch it again but I thin that Jack is the worst and most boring character by far and don't think I could bring myself to it. I seriously struggle through his episodes.

Kate says at the end of the "we have to go back episode" that "he's waiting for me" or something to the effect of that. I take that to be Aaron at this point.

Also fuck the spoiler tags, it's been a page. Don't come in here if you haven't watched the latest episode.

hmm maybe. I always thought that was Sawyer, but since he's on the island I dunno. You're probably right. So it has to be out of the Oceanic 6

Jack
Kate
Aaron
Hurley
Sayid
Sun (Jin must die on the island and be brough back otherwise that would make it 7 unless Aaron doesn't count)

So if its not Aaron, it's either Hurley, Sayid or Sun. Or it could possibly be someone who was not apart of the oceanic 6. What the hell happens to Desmond?

Desmond is kind of a question mark because he's already on the boat so he's gotta get back to the island.

Jin isn't dead, or as far we know, his tombstone read the date of the plane crash as his DOD so that really doesn't confirm anything other than he's likely still on the island and stayed behind to be sure his wife got on the helicopter.

It would be weird if it was Hurley, Sayid, or Sun (she said he so...) and from these, given what we know, Aaron is really the only viable option. it could be someone else we haven't met or someone from her past but until something crazy happens you can probably bank on Aaron.

The funeral is interesting since it could be an Oceanic 6 (Sayid is the only one who may no longer be Jack's friend, so far as we've seen) or it could be Ben, his death making Jack fully realize the need to go back to the island. Or Michael who is on the ship, providing him a means back. Another idea I've had is that they brought a body back (unlikely considering they've already mentioned the helicopter being able to only hold so many) and that it was Lockes. Also remember how they said there were initially 8 survivors in the court episode (2 died on the island according to Kate's story)? I think they included the other two for a reason, possibly because their bodies were brought back or something else required the 2 to be included in the story.

Yeah you're right. I was thrown off since I never pay much attention to Jackbacks.

As for the coffin, I don't get why everyone is so intent on it being someone from the Oceanic Six. The producers said that it was somebody that we already knew, but that doesn't mean that it's someone from the island. That said it's not one of the things that I think too much about. The best explanation is Hurley (because nobody else was present and the fact that Jack found out about it in an obituary), but I doubt that it will be him and it'll probably be someone that will throw everyone for a loop or something.

Man.... not to shit on the topic but... so I don't watch the show? But I read spoilers in topics like these anyway and watch 5-minute parts sporadically when there's a TV on nearby and, well is it just me or has this show gone bat shit alzheimers nuts. The island is causing car crashes just.... what the fuck? I'd like a serious response: How can people watch this and take it seriously.

Because it's the fucking best tv show ever!  :woop:

You can't read about Lost. You have to see it, seriously.

Oh and yeah, when did the island cause a car crash? I'm not putting this under spoiler because I have no idea what you're talking about.

I'd hate the show too if I didn't watch the first three seasons all in one sitting. This latest seasons I don't like as much, although I am really certain that it's only because I'm waiting between the episodes, and it really saps a lot of the enjoyment out of the show.

It's a lot less OH GOD MYSTERIES I CANT FOLLOW WHATS GOING ON than a lot of people make it out to be. If you just follow the show and watch all the episodes in sequence there's no reason to get "lost" (ohohoho).

This recent episode was AWESOME. This has to be the first John Locke flashback that wasn't related at all to con-men. Yeah, it wasn't the best but I really really liked it.

The whole was so random and unexpected.

btw John Locke annoys me,  Jin is the only cool character. and DEAR GOD DO I HATE THAT BLACK GUY.

I wonder when we, the watchers, are going to get in on it too.
