Depends a bit on how youthful. I remember stuff like Ducktales and all the followups like Rescue Rangers (which I assume was a followup anyway, they showed at about the same time here), Tail Spin, Darkwing Duck etc. About the same time I also remember following TMNT a lot. (or TMHT as it was here)

There was also stuff like the Gummi Bears. And I remember Captain Planet and Biker Mice From Mars (damn those sucked badly). Oh and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or something.

But that is all pretty late too. I should go back even further to see what I can find in those dark holes.

Well obviously Merry Melodies and Looney Tunes. And Classic Disney shorts.

And now I remember a Nils Holgersson cartoon and Moomin. Fuck yeah. Moomin. Looking at Wikipedia the Nils Holgersson cartoon was apparently an anime. So I think I just found the first anime I ever watched. Earlier today I found the first manga I ever read too. Scary shite.

I don't remember liking half the shit I watched on TV as a kid. I didn't like TMNT, or Street Sharks. Rocko was over my head and Ren & Stimpy I wasn't allowed to watch(RIP Old Nick Shows). Most stuff I would watch because something I wanted to watch was coming up.

I enjoyed Dexter's Lab, though. And Powerpuff Girls (anything by Genndy Tartakovsky for that matter). I watched Power Rangers religiously until even I thought it was gay. Anything with a video game related episode or about video games I would watch.

Where did I find time to play the 7 hour Super Mario marathons?

EDIT: Anyone remember UPN? Ha ha, me neither.

Lol UPN had that shitty Jumanji show that came on when I went to my grandmas. Every time it came on I changed it to the Chuck Norris informercials cause even that was better than the slop of UPN's saturday cartoons

Ren & Stimpy rocks! I really liked that show, because its so gross and discusting, but still funny! Also Spongebob is great too, I still wach it. Some episodes I wached like a hundred times, but it's still funny as hell. I liked digimon, and pokemon, although both stoped airing in my chountry. South park was awesome too. Still is though.

I definitely had good times with shows such as SWAT Cats, Gargoyles, Darkstalkers, TMNT, Mighty Max, X-Men, Ren and Stimpy, Angry Beavers, and even shows like the Pink Panther. I remember I'd spent many mornings just kicking back and watching cartoons until the clock winded down and I had to go to school. FOX, ABC, and Cartoon Network used to be some of the best places to catch good shows around.

Actually, that, along with the rest of the line up (including Monster Rancher, Heavy Gear, Starship Troopers, and etc) was from a third party package. I remember the same lineup being played on Fox and the Sci Fi channel... and possibly more.

Haha, BKN! Thats what it was called! I totally forgot. Actually out of all of those shows the only one I could halfway stand was the monster rancher anime, because it was the only monster breeding game-based anime that was actually realistic. I kinda liked the whole fantasy setting where the main character faught too, unlike Digimon and Poke'mon where the people gave the monsters commands. Or at least I think thats what the show was like. :fogetshrug: Its been so long.

since i'm about the same age as a lot of other people on gw, i'm sure the cartoons of my youth are the same as the cartoons of their youth.  animaniacs, darkwing duck, batman, rescue rangers, and so on.  it basically gets separated into two types, i think: the disney stuff (ducktales, rescue rangers, etc) and whatever all that other shit was on.  kids' wb, i think?  most of it was probably pretty dumb, but i've been watching batman lately, and it's actually pretty good, especially the earlier episodes where it still seemed to take place in the 50s, before the visual update.

also, does anyone remember jayce and the wheeled warriors?  i assume it was stupid as shit but i loved it as a kid (WHOAAA IT'S A CAR WITH AN ARM) and i never hear anyone talk about it.

no Jayce and the wheeled warriors was like SPACE FAMILY flying around being attacked by plantaliens http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a0/Jayce_audric_sawboss.jpg

The ONLY cartoon I ever remember with 3D gimick was The Bots Master. Which is my personal favourite 90's cartoon. If not for it's awesome budget then because it has a character called Ninjzz... pronounced Nin-jizz.

i remember seeing Neon Genesis Evangelon when i was a kid. i loved it for a few episodes.. until they decided to complicate things by getting overly deep and complicated. by that time i couldn't understand it... i just liked the fighting.

Dude...I watched Cadillacs & Dinosaurs...damn, that's so long ago now. Uh, I was and still am a large glutton of cartoons so there's a huge list so I'll just name a few I watched back then: Biker Mice from Mars...Capten Planet (dude, why has nobody mentioned this?), man I can't remember more at the moment, so exhausted today. Ah, the Mario cartoons...
