All you people that say Batio's solos are lifeless are idiots. It seems that if you play fast, you have no soul. If you utilize slides, bends and slow vibratos, you suck cause you can't play fast. It IS music, it's NOT lifeless. Batio has an acoustic piece that will make you cry. Think about the situation from BOTH sides before making an idiotic post.
hahaha
Also since this is about CRAZY GUITARISTS and not cool guitarists (substance over technicality) i
gues i should stay out of this topic...

Ok, i might as well list some few interesting clips i have accumulated by time.
"Li'l Jack Horny Intro/Midnight Express" by Nuno Bettencourt
- Interesting eastern- infuenced electro-accoustic performance by Nuno Bettencourt. Some amazing rhythm work there. Skip to about 0:49.
Al di Meola - Land of the Midnight Sun Pt. 1
- So you guys think Petrucci is something amazing? Then, i guess you could like this song from 1975. Some prog - stuff with flamenco influences. Note: the guy does not shred at all, just listen what he does.
Steve Vai - Tender Surrender
- as a finisher. The very essential of Steve Vai. Vai is... incredible, his emotions are so
authentic, just look his gestures and
face thorough the whole performance.
Guana might have even more interesting stuff.
