Raziel: Nice video. Seems like Wak is still used to Marth's melee spacing. There were so many attacks/grabs that would have connected in Melee that completely missed in the vid.

Haha yeah, if it had been Melee I'd have been destroyed completely, he's lightyears ahead of me in terms of skills. Brawl sort of evens the field out but his experience and skill compensates for his shortcomings due to switching games.

I think I'm going to switch my main from Marth to Sheik.  Even if Sheik isn't as good this time around.

That's exactly what the game is about.

Sheik is still pretty good. You have to combo more before going in for the killing blow (tilts still work) and you can't rely on her f-air for kills. Her dash attack, up-air, back-air, and neutral air can still KO. She's not as good as she was in Melee, but I think she's very underrated.tilts.

Sorry I dropped early Capt_Strife, my PC had crashed and that's why the lag kicked up at the end, had to reboot it and since I have to use the wifi dongle I had to disconnect.

Also the reason I dropped on the first match is mostly because of items. The lag is already bad enough, I don't like adding another random element to be bothered about.

So is everyone cool with having the tournament next Sunday?

-Best 2 out of 3
-Double elimination
-Stages: All stages will be allowed.
-Items: All items will be turned on because most people wanted it this way in the old topic. If this has changed in the last few weeks, let me know and we can turn them off. We can do an item ban list if enough people want to ban certain items. DN brought up the idea of banning recovery items/food. Let me know what you guys want to do.

Since it'd be tough to set a time when everyone can go online, it'd be best to leave it up to the contestants to contact each other. After the bracket is determined, you have to get in touch with your opponent and set up a time when you'd both be able to play. Please use PMs/AIM/mIRC/MSN/whatever for this to avoid cluttering up the topic (you can, however, post about how the matches went). After someone gets the 2 victories, you PM me with the results. Each round would take one day and you and your opponent have until a few hours before the next round begins to get your matches out of the way. So for example, the first round would be on Sunday the 23rd, and you'd have until...let's say...5 PM (central) on Monday to play and PM the results. At 6 PM on Monday, I'll post the updated brackets and you have anywhere from then until 5 PM on Tuesday to complete the next round.
