I'll be leaving for work in a few minutes, so if I'm still online (and not playing as Sonic/Olimar/ROB) then it's probably my younger brother playing (and if he is expect a Pit Side-B spammer :P NOTE: He's vulnerable to Up-A moves - it always works for me...

Man, you need to stop doing Sonic's spin move all the time, it's the most laggy online scrub bullshit ever, my boyfriend and Wak were laughing their asses off next to me watching you play. It was funny as hell when I was playing Snake too because I was one the phone and had to play with one hand actually.

Otherwise, GGs everyone. Especially M-o-W who I got a bunch of decent 1-on-1s with.

I wish I didn't have a dentist appointment today. Have to get a freaking tooth pulled out because the crown on it fell off while I was eating now and laters. Stupid candy. All this talk of you guys playing makes me want to play too. Guess I'll be on sometime tonight, around 10 PM central. Hopefully somebody will still be on.

Important tournament information:

So is everyone cool with having the tournament next Sunday?

-Best 2 out of 3
-Double elimination
-Stages: All stages will be allowed.
-Items: All items will be turned on because most people wanted it this way in the old topic. If this has changed in the last few weeks, let me know and we can turn them off. We can do an item ban list if enough people want to ban certain items. DN brought up the idea of banning recovery items/food. Let me know what you guys want to do.

Since it'd be tough to set a time when everyone can go online, it'd be best to leave it up to the contestants to contact each other. After the bracket is determined, you have to get in touch with your opponent and set up a time when you'd both be able to play. Please use PMs/AIM/mIRC/MSN/whatever for this to avoid cluttering up the topic (you can, however, post about how the matches went). After someone gets the 2 victories, you PM me with the results. Each round would take one day and you and your opponent have until a few hours before the next round begins to get your matches out of the way. So for example, the first round would be on Sunday the 23rd, and you'd have until...let's say...5 PM (central) on Monday to play and PM the results. At 6 PM on Monday, I'll post the updated brackets and you have anywhere from then until 5 PM on Tuesday to complete the next round.

How does this sound? I'll be updating the first post with this information later today so please let me know what you think.

Btw I apologize for leaving on our last match NightBlade, but the lag was just unbearable. A tip to you guys (from what I have noticed) Final Destination might have a simple stage, but its laggy as all hell due to the background.

Just a suggestion - We should probably all exchange our most commonly used messenger handles so we can request battles and such. Talking on a forum is kinda awkward, and the timing for waiting on people to respond is relative too. At least in messengers, there's instant results without having to guess when they replied, loading the page over and over again.

The vids I've seen of you people are primo, by the way.

Hah, yeah, that's why I left too. My Olimar's down/side smashes were so awfully timed because of that! Yeah I started laughing when I realized I almost picked C. Falcon, too.

EDIT: Also Raz, if you haven't figured it out yet, Lucario down air is beastly and kills. It stops his momentum, so it's like a combination of Fox's shine and Lucas's down air. It's amazing.

I don't think its a good idea to pick it much.

I don't think the background of a level would affect the online lag. It's not like you're sending that data to the other players.

No offense Raziel, but that... That was pretty great. One question, though: how would he be mashing buttons with his micro-dick WHILE ejaculating into his boyfriend's hair? That would require some darn complicating maneuvers.

Also if anyone's on for later, around 10 I'd guess, I might be around. I'm probably going to start going to #capcom soon, so I think we should all shift our smaller conversations to that. Granted it's easier to a degree here, since not everybody has to be on, but...

You're right, it's pretty hypocritical of me to say "fuggin steel always causing shit" and then turn around to do something similar. But in my defense, 1. I rarely do it except when I really need to, and 2. while not he's not STRICTLY AGAINST THE RULES, it is pretty terrible to directly mock someone about a game in a topic dedicated to people trying to have simple fun with aforementioned game, and letting that kind of comment just pass on by wouldn't seem right; I am mostly responding to BAD ATTITUDE. Also I didn't really insult him too terribly (aside from implying he has a small penis (lol mature)) and honestly just want him to not act like a jerk.

Anyway, I'd rather not have this derail the thread any further than I have, so if anyone has anything else to say about it, please just keep it to PM.

I got the game today but can't really play it due to Wii being homosexual but as soon as I have dealt with the problem, I want to play online with you guys, though I'm afraid it can be pretty laggy since I'm European. At least I have a good connection though.

Is that even possible? I thought that it was region locked, or on different WFC networks, or something?

I got freeloader for Wii and rami already tried it online so it should work!
