I really need to get used to the lag

Lucas FTW, I love is Up Smash attack, I call it the Lucas Falcon Punch. :P and plus I figured out his Spike, so it makes Lucas even more fun.

well they were, but now they are worse

Anyway, I have been playing a lot the past few days, and I gotta say I really enjoy Lucario, at first i was like "oh this character must be dumb(like sarhan)" but then I played it a lot more, and have actually been kicking all my friend's asses, but i mean they don't compare to the people I'd play in a tournament who are just barely worth playing(because they actually practice daily like me)

Falco is my second favorite in this game, he just feels more like Fox did in Melee for me, who was my favorite character. Like, I am really disappointed in fox, he sucks in this game(imo). And then Lucas, he is just cool....all that PK stuff, I love it

For some reason I can't connect to the WFC anymore...anyone else?  My internet is just fine otherwise, so it's kind of weird.

I'm pretty sure Sarhan is just joking around. I am for sure. I know I'm not that good, but igniting a fire is a good way to get people to play you ​.

Velfarre that happens to me sometimes. ThHe way to remedy that is to start the group yourself if you have joining others.

Sounds like we had the same impressions. I mained Fox my entire life up until Brawl, but after I got used to the physics with the more floaty characters (Metaknight, ideally), then my Fox came back. Try doing that, don't underestimate him yet!

Also damn Lucas is amazing.

This is going to take a while for me to get used to. 1 attack button and 1 special button... the d-pad dictating what attacks you do? Definitely something I'm not used to.

But before I keep practicing... I have a question to the more experianced players.

Should I keep using up as jump, and switch between A,B and the C pad for attacks... (I use a GC controller) or should I disable up as jump and simply use a and b for attacks and x/y as jump, ignoring the c pad altogether?

I would say disable jump from the control stick and use x and y because doing non smash up-a attacks are pretty much nearly impossible if you have up set on jump. also for me it feels more natural to hit x and then have to travel negative seconds below to use an a attack. its on you though, however it feels better to you. you could be one of those sick up jumper players or w/e.

In that case, that sucks. Maybe try disabling firewalls. There is a nintendo support site that may help you for online troubles.

what you need to do is do his Final Smash (ZAAAAWARUDDDDO) and taunt someone when they are like in the red, right next to them, so that it KOs them.

I'm having loads of fun with Olimar. He's really good, he'll probably end up high tier (unfortunately). His up+b is super easily gimped though.

Haven't figured out Olimar too well yet, although he seems pretty interesting to use.
