He's not even significant enough to the film industy to be an "evil".  He's pretty damn harmless really.  He's definitely not harmful enough for a community to get in an uproar over him at least.

No way man. Boll's movies are about as good as game to movie adaptations are going to get. The problem isn't with the director but what bazookatooth said earlier about storywriting standards in video games being much, much worse than in movies. What seems like a good story or good writing in video games is completely laughable when you compare it to good writing and stories in movies. There's not a whole lot Boll could do about this besides making his movies only very loosely based on the games they're about in which case THAT is what game nerds would bitch about next.

have you ever watched a movie by boll with a sense of YES I'M GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. it's truly excellent. like he is better than Tim and Eric at awkward cuts and shit.

uwe boll wouldn't be funny if he was really humble about this. if he came out and said I'M SO SORRY I'M TRYING MY BEST you would feel sorry for him because you'd be 99% sure he was mentally handicapped. but no, he comes out and beats the hell out of lowtax and other random INTERNET PEOPLE because alone in the dark got bad reviews on DA INTERNET.

well obviously but we don't have that luxury anymore because all new movies are DREADFUL and cater exclusively to simpletons and emotionless dullards. i could lose most of my fingers in an explosion and still have enough digits to count the GREAT MOVIES that have been released in the last 10 years.

it's really kinda baffling that so many people don't GET uwe boll. it's like people cannot understand the value of mst3k-quality movies without comedians literally dubbing a commentary track over the movie.

Boll is great because he plays to the internet crowd, but they don't get it. I mean copying Hundley and posting youtube, how can you take anything by this guy seriously?
I am sad that people want this guy to stop.

Bay deserves an anti-Bay petition more than Boll deserves an anti-Boll petition.

Also I watched "In the Name of the King" today and enjoyed it more than almost every major film that's been out in the last year or so.
