Well, if you have or haven't played The Way, you would surely enjoy this.. It's a trailer made by the creator of the game, Lun Calsari. www.crestfallen.us

Maybe he wants to keep it alive, get more fans, I dunno.

I think the trailer is boring and the music sucks but The Way still remains as the best rm2k/3 game(s) I have played.

That music doesn't fit the game...at all. Neither one of them do.
But yeah The Way series is definately one of my favorite RM games as well. The storyline is especially good.

i didn't even watch the trailer, but i played the game for like thirty minutes once, and i'm loling at the fact that he used a blink 182 song as the background music.

LunC is probably one of the best writers to create an RPG Maker game, but his music preferences at the time the original trailer was made is pretty amazing; by amazing I mean shameful.

Yeah man, RPG Maker trailers are usually pretty dull. More people should watch and learn from the Chrono Trigger or Mario RPG intro videos, those were entertaining.

The trailer was way to long and the music was so unfitting, it just ruined the whole thing. Lol greenday was used in the original one?

I've got to admit I was pretty excited when I came in this topic. I was hoping that he had compiled all the games into one version and updated all the graphics and was attempting to make it a commercial game and this was the trailer for it.

What I got was teen adolescence music over a trailer that doesn't really show much about the game's story at all...

The game itself looks pretty good for an RM2K game.

I actually think this game would be great if it just had green day music on loop for the whole game. It would be like modern art or something

LunC has talked about remaking The Way using something other then rm2k and making it one big game before.

As of right now its is 100% known LunC is done with rm2k and rpgmaker in general, but there have been a few rumors on a hidden game that takes place before The Way and revolves around the character Dirk. These are only rumors, nothing is known about if its true or not as LunC keeps to himself.

I'm not very versed in RPG Maker, but why doesn't this show any combat? because it's the same throughout all RM games?

hahaha wow, at first i thought he was trying to appeal to the RPG MAKER DEMOGRAPHIC with that music but it turns out he genuinely likes it. i hope the faceless trailer is this good.

Using commercial music like this is such a big risk because not everyone loves green day

Don't know. The combat is actually a bit different then most rm2k games.

I actually tried The Way around the time it came out and got to Chapter 2, and hated it. The maps were awful in Chapter 2, I didn't even know where I was going or what to do. And the story wasn't that great.
