Yeah I felt this way too. The game seemed to have some sort of sense of style and a specific vision in terms of what it was trying to do, but when playing it I simply was not having any fun. Ludos to Lun for capturing the hearts and minds of so many people though!

Thirded. I just really couldn't get into the series. It did have a nice and pretty original style, and hats off to Lun for that, but it just wasn't interesting enough.

the best part of the trailer is the big "battle scene" with the vases everywhere, random patches of grass, and clutters of dead bodies THE HORROR OF WAR

Heh. The song's lyrics fits quite well with the game's plot though.

Are you sure this trailer was made by Lun? Perhaps advertising isn't his thing.

I still have bad memories of the Slig utterly destroying me. I never tried anything past Chapter 1, because it seemed like a grim series that would leave me feeling depressed. And the first one really wasn't much fun...

It's always fun to listen to ppl flame something they didn't even bother to play. "I got to chapter 2" "I didn't get past chapter 1". Well guess what? It's 6 chapters long. If you didn't play it, don't knock it. You have NO idea how the game plays or how good/bad the story is becuase you DIDN"T SEE IT.

[sarcasm] BTW, I've never played Halo 3. But I'm gonna say it sucks balls. I'm not gonna play it ether but trust me, I know what I'm talking about. [/sarcasm]

Um, about your sarcasm statement about never playing Halo. The thing is we actually did play the game. We just never got caught up in it, so why finish it?

Saying people can't criticise things they haven't experienced all the way to the end is fucking dumb, you are fucking dumb.

Maybe... by the second chapter people could work out they don't like the STYLE or BASIC PREMISE of the games.

Umm.. I actually plaed the whole The Way and finished it. I really think that the plot goes excellent in 5-6.

Well I don't think many people know this, but the new versions of The Way have options of making it Story Only, which means all battles and puzzles turned off.

I agree, I have not played enough of The Way to deem the whole series as bad. However, that doesn't change the fact that I didn't enjoy the first one, and I have heard other people describe the series as "dark" before. It doesn't seem like my thing, and it's up to me wether I play it or not. I'm normally more open-minded about this kind of thing, but this time I just wasn't up to it. Maybe someday I'll be able to offer a more informed opinion.

I played the Way 1-4 and 5 is still ongoing and I just downloaded 6.
Gameplay Wise I don't really like it, but the story kept me going.

The thing about The Way is, it DOES start off really slow and isn't alot of fun when you lose Plunge after Plunge. But the game is designed to make you feel weak at first and slowly build you up. I think more rpgs should do that. In most rpgs you win 100% of the battles that you are in and if you lose even one battle it's a gameover and you must start from your last save.

The best part of The Way is ep 6. And considering it's pretty much as long as Eps 1-5 combined it's definatly worth it.

People who give up on stuff that don't like at first are missing out on alot of great things in life. It's sad.
