I'd absolutely go for this. Also Birmingham is a good idea because I basically live there (the city's boundary is right round the corner) it is pretty central yeah.

I've only ever been to the motorshow
The motorshow is in Solihull, IIRC (it's at the NEC right?)

I just don't know what there is to do there....
The Bull Ring and Selfridges is a great place to go shopping (in fact the whole city is really). The Electric Cinema is pretty rad (the oldest cinema in the UK!). Down by the canals there are some great places to sit outside and have a coffee or something (I believe they are called cafés), and the whole place generally looks nice (far from the Birmingham of the 70s and 80s). I am rooting for Brum!

EDIT: shit, I absolutely thought I was editing this. sorry!

Haven't been to Brum in like 10 years, so it would be pretty cool (also its only like 45 minutes on the train from Sheff).

Is the Electric Cinema a proper electro cinema?

Edit: Of course, I am not entirley convinced when a town needs this site: http://www.birminghamitsnotshit.co.uk/

Hey, since there is a Canadian GW meet in the work I thought I'd try my luck/get my paedo on at seeing if anyone is interested in a meet in the UK?

I am 20/M/ - Bristol based most of the time and it's pretty easy for me to get to London etc.

I'm  based in Brizzle too :D
I say Bristol is a nice place...............................

Either are easy to get to. Birmingham might be a nice change- and the actual cost of everything there is way cheaper.

If you can argue what's so good about your placea and they're accessible without having to pay virgin trains an ENTIRE student loan then could go for the right one?

Looks like it's gonna be brum. Takes me about an hour and a half to get there on blaine the mono.

Dom you seem to know where to go in brum, what do you suggest?

I'd be interested in some kind of britmeat, as long as I'm not the oldest or youngest person there again (always seems to happen when meeting internet people).
Manchester's more convenient for me, but then just about every meet I've been to lately has been at a club on Canal Street (Manchester), so a change would probably be a good thing.
