last night a couple of the members decided to go play 9 holes starting at 6:30

for those of you who dont know golf that means for 6 of them they are going to be out there till 9:30

the restaraunt closes at 9. they didnt come off the course till 9:45 and then ordered a shit ton of food. then they came in this morning and complained that it wasn't any good. The head chef pretty much shit a brick because he was still there when this happened and did the regular quality control and made sure everything was the same as it always was. This group of 6 was just hell bent on causing a ruckus and making life harder for the 3 of us that work in the kitchen.

Oh and some black man came through Drive-Thru one morning at 7 am with his kids, and he told his kids quite loudly to "Shut the fuck up".  The manager was offended by his language, and asked him politely to not use that language.  He came in and started bitching at the manager for about 2 hours...  seriously, I had to work 6 am to 2 pm, and he was inside from about 7:30 to almost 10:00.

what the hell was the point of including the race.

you didn't do it with any other story.

Yeah, really. I also think the manager was out of place. He wasn't even talking to the manager, but to his kids. I don't agree with the way he was speaking to his kids like that, but if someone tried to tell me how I should talk, I would be pretty pissed to. It's even worse when I'm not even talking to that person.

I found bits of black plastic in my Chinese take-away last night, but apart from that, I've never really had a problem with anything.
Upon arriving the attending doctor could find no abnormal physical symptoms other than extremely dilated pupils. After spending several hours terrified that his body had been possessed by a demon, that his next door neighbor was a witch, and that his furniture was threatening him, Dr. Hofmann feared he had become completely insane.

I tend to say peoples races, or anything else thats descriptive (old, fat, woman) when I'm talking about someone else.  and there is a point.  A black person won't yell at someone the same way a white person would. (well, depending on where/how they were raised).  Also people have a tendancy to picture different races differently.

I'm not trying to be racist.  I'm just trying to give your mind a more vivid picture.
It could also be due to the fact that I grew up in a town where 99% of the population is white, and my family (step-dad, Grandpa) were racist.

Yeah, And since when is black a race? it's the color fo the skin.

Not really bad service more something cool then bad actually but yesterday i found two fries fused trough each other to make an X, I don't see that to often.

Once at a mall restaurant in portland I ordered some food (I forget what it was like two years ago) And first it takes half an hour to finally get to my table which was understandable considering the amount of people there that day, But when it was finally there it turned out to be the wrong order, Ok so I have a bit of bad luck, I got a hold of a waiter and pointed out the mistake, he took it back and about 30 something minutes later came back with what I did order. Well after I was done eating I got the bill naturally, and they charge dme for the other plate that was the wrong order too. I payed it because I really didn't want to stand around in that god awful line just to complain about paying an extra 10$ but god was I pissed, never ate there again.

"The term race refers to the concept of dividing people into populations or groups on the basis of various sets of characteristics. The most widely used human racial categories are based on visible traits (especially skin color, cranial or facial features and hair texture), and self-identification."

This isn't D&D or something :fogetlaugh:.

I actually don't have any horrible services stories....weird.

Um, no. That's blatant stereotyping. It's entirely dependent on the person and the skin color is irrelevant. I know you recognized that by saying it depended on where and how they were raised, but why make such an untrue statement in the first place? The only reason I commented on it was because while you told other stories, you singled out the race in this specific story like it was of some importance, which it really wasn't.

So by that logic, that makes Micheal jackson white, and is no longer African American, and anyone who has any skin condition altering there skin tone means there of completely different race?

...What? I can dye my skin green and I'd still be considered whatever race I was beforehand. What kind of argument is that?

I know a girl who ordered a mcdonalds burger (or something, dont know if it was mcdonalds), anyway, she said the mayonnaise in the burger tasted pretty weird and she wasn't best pleased by it.

A couple of days later she had this horrible rash around her lips, like red sores just sprouting up out of nowhere, it was horrific.

Put me off fast food for a looong time.
this is an amazing story I'd expect to see in a college film

like where someone ejaculates into the burger of a girl he hates/is in love with and serves it and then he finds out he has herpes

is it true tho??

Not bad FOOD service but one chick down at the 7/11 charges me twice as much for stuff then what it actually costs because I called her a bitch once when she told me if I didn't hurry up and buy something she wouldn't sell it to me.

I worked at McDonalds for 4 years. The decline in peoples interest in working and doing a good job has been insane, though as I worked you usually got a well made sandwich that didn't fall apart or nice hot fries that didn't taste like cardboard.

I insisted that we follow all set standards and try to exceed them (reason why I was awarded many times by customers and McDonalds themselves).

The standards today that I can see are poorly followed, UHC timers are simply not used (these tell you how long the food can stand in 75 degree temperature and still stay fresh, once the timer rings withing 30 minutes the food then becomes an inedible product), they don't follow batching rules either (cook for what you need, not what you can do).

If you go to smaller fast food restaurants you will find the food is fresher and better tasting, going to a larger restaurant there will be too many people working undertrained and lacking in care or worry for their position that the food will be shit.
