george carlin gives me a lot of inspiration

because he lived to the age of 71 having been an every day pot smoker for at least 30 years. 71 is old enough for me

This sucks. I really didn't think this was true I was so shocked! He is one of those guys I expected to somehow just keep ticking forever somehow.

I thought he was really damn funny, and like I said this really sucks.

I'll play some Carlin this weekend on the radio. We'll have a marathon. Old George was iconic, he deserves it.

I'm so glad I got to see him before he passed. He was the best.

Hopefully he didn't suffer from his theory of Frisbeetarianism and get stuck in the roof while trying to ascend into the afterlife...  Then again, he prayed to Joe Pesci, so maybe Pesci will take a bat to the entire roof and let him out, eh?

Man, this guy was killer.  My parents have a bunch of records of his from way back when (yes, records) and I remember listening to them with my brother back when we were a lot younger...  Man, so sad.

Tavis Smiley did a pretty sweet tribute to him on his show last night. Hooray for late night PBS programming lol

I won't say rest in peace since it seems he wouldn't have approved.

Learning about his death was so sad for me.  He was a great comedian.

I'm sure he's up there right now, looking down on us... And I'm sure he's happy.

I remember when first hearing his New Jersey Special, I laughed so hard my throat was in severe pain... I was hoping he'd have at least another ten years in him... What a loss.

I saw him live once as well, I was a tremendous fan.  I'll be attending his public memorial for sure.

i personally didn't like his humor, but i liked some of his social commentary to the extent that i respected him.  but i haven't read the paper, been on line, listened to the radio, or read the news paper for about two weeks...

and then this happens

fuck man.
