Continuing to roll baby... Now 9-2-0... Two game lead over BoE for first place in the league. I'm surprised that I didn't clinch a Playoff spot yet.. should get one with another win next week. Can't lose my focus though, I'm almost there..

I'm surprised that Hundley at dead last gave me a good fight this week... Almost lost it there.

Hmm.. I think I already lost... Didn't know Jacobs was gonna sit out this week (it was like a last minute thing) and I had him started. Lendale and Scaife for the Titans played shitty for me, and they got their first loss..

Darn.. aw well, not that important this week..

Congrats to whoever had Randy Moss, Trent Edwards, or T.O. this week.

The guys who had Randy Moss and T.O. were playing against each other this week, so they sort of counteract each other. On another note, God bless Michael Turner and his four touchdowns. Just about won me this week by himself.

Man, my running backs had a horrible week.  Now I've got to hope my kicker can hit three field goals tonight.

There is the slightest potential that I could end up from 7th to 4th after this week. A couple touchdowns by Grant and Rodgers tonight, and not many field goals by Crosby should do it!

Yeah, how bout that Michael Turner though! 4 touchdowns, that's a gamebreaker for sure. :)

I feel sorry for Enlightened Posse. If he hadn't started Donovan McNabb, who had a surprising -7 points this week, he would've won!

Ah cool... Even though I lost this week, I didn't see that I already clinched a Playoff berth... Sweet.

Now its just the matter of me getting the #1 seed for three years in a row and this time NOT lose in the 1st round of the Playoffs! Now that'd be something... Hoping to take home the crown this year baby...

Figures Warner throws three interceptions and loses horribly to Philadelphia, but STILL manages to get 16 points. I'm going to need a huge day from Brees, Moore, and Turner if I'm going to have any chance to win this week.

Holy fucking shit, this is too damn funny:

Quote from: Yahoo News
Super Bowl hero Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the right thigh and spent the night in the hospital, another dramatic turn in a tumultuous season in which the star New York Giants receiver has been fined and suspended.

The Giants said the shooting happened Friday night and he was released from the hospital early Saturday. The team did not say which hospital Burress went to or how badly he was injured.

However, a team official told The Associated Press that Burress shot himself in a nightclub. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the team was still trying to sort out all the facts.

“Our primary concern is for Plaxico’s health and well-being, and given the circumstances, we are relieved to say he was released from a New York City hospital,” the Giants said in a statement.

Whoever has Burress might want to bench him.

Man.. Plaxico is such a nut case and he can get charged for several things, including the possession of an unlicensed weapon... And in general, the NFL has way too many fucking convicts that its disgusting...

In more positive news, I bounced back from last week and I take out Shinobars with a solid 66-52 victory that threatens his Playoffs hopes, and I still got that 1 game for first place in the league. Blades took a huge blow by losing to the lowly Dirtsheet 39-32 that all but diminishes his faint Playoff hopes. He's gonna have to contend with several others in the final couple of weeks and win the tie breaker by points.

I think you mean final week.  Next week is it for our regular season, then it's on to the playoffs.  It just seems this week that everyone on my team sucked massively.

Things are heating up in the final stretch! Last week was a huge game changer for a lot of contenders.

The Immortalz taking out Shinobars put the Shinobars in the middle of a very intense four-way tie. Although their lead in points all but secures them a playoff spot assuming that they can answer the recent loss with a win.

The Jotuns bounce back from sixth to third after a two game winning streak. Their overall point lead also secures a playoff spot, so long as they continue to perform.

Meanwhile, the once high and mighty Blades are suffering from a two game losing streak. Their hopes for clinching a shot at the playoffs relies entirely on the performance of the Jotuns and Shinobars.

Sprankton and Dirtsheet also have a chance, although that is dependent on a number of variables.

That is not to forget Fooseball Fiend, whose decent accumulation of points keeps him in contender status.

Games of the Week

Jotuns vs Board of Education
The Jotuns look to hold on to their number three spot while challenging the number two Board of Education. It's a shoot-out between Rodgers and Romo, and Romo's playing the always tough Steeler's D this week. Look for the Board to rely heavily on the stalwart Titans D for a victory.

Blades vs Dirty Diabetics
The Blades look to defeat the lowly Diabetics in a hope to maintain a shot at the playoffs.

Sprankton vs Fooseball Fiend
Both teams have a decent number of points racked up and look to move up the rung with a win in this game.

dont likef midgits vs Wireman
This game seems to be for the sake of posterity.

The Immortalz vs Enlightened Posse
Should be an easy win for the Immortalz.

Shinobars vs Dirtsheet
Dirtsheet, with a pitiful 487 points total, needs this win more than anything if they plan to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Shinobars, meanwhile, need this win to maintain their very fragile playoff berth.

Whew! Should be an exciting week for all!

Nice recap and preview all in one! I was hoping to do a few this season like I did last season but I've just been way too damn busy all season with a lot of things... I'm hoping to do the recap for next week (the final regular season games), so I got dibs on that!

Man 4 way tie for 7-6 teams...! Then we got two teams at 6-7, and they can still make it in as well, though quite unlikely...

Gonna be an interesting week... I just wanna win to rack up 11 wins for the 2nd consecutive season.. This year I hope to not choke in the 1st round of the playoffs for the 3rd straight season...

Good luck this week boys.. y'all gonna need it!

Poor guy... You had a head to head matchup with one of the teams that you were competing against for that 4th and final Playoff berth, and you lost it. It was a close game though and could've went either way... But anyway:

Final Regular Season Results:

Final Regular Season Standings:
[/u]

As the regular season winds down, many were still battling for the final 2 Playoff berths right up until the last regular season game. There were 6 deadlocked teams fighting for 2 berths, but only 2 could make it.

In the first pivotal matchup, the once upon a time doormat, Dirtsheet (8-6-0) edged one of the favorites to make the Playoffs, Shinobars (7-7-0) by a score of 46-40, who up until the final week, had a solid lock on a Playoff spot but finished the regular season in a very disappointing fashion by dropping 2 straight. The Baltimore defense and Jason Hanson (Lions Kicker) came through to the clutch for Dirtsheet, providing him with a surprising 26 combined points. Drew Brees tried to keep Shinobars afloat by amassing 16 points but players like RB Desean Jackson and TE Dustin Keller underwent awful games that cost Shinobars his last shot at a Playoffs berth.

Although Dirtsheet did clinch a Playoff spot, he did so with a measley 533 Point total, the worst mark in the league!

Fooseball Fiend (7-7-0) outlasted Sprankton (7-7-0) in a shootout by a score of 66-53, but both teams' Playoffs hopes dwindled as they did not amass enough wins to clinch a tie breaker. Fooseball Fiend was his own worst enemy however, losing his previous 3 games to fall out of contention and from then on out, it became quite difficult for him to clinch a Playoff berth with his point total being lower than Blades.

What started out as a promising season for one of the favourites, Blades (7-7-0) with a huge points for figure of 841 (the highest in the league even above the 1st place titan, The Immortalz), Blades went on continuous losing streaks that cost him a shot at a Playoff berth. With a devastation of the lowly Dirty Diabetics (4-8-2) by a score of 78-53, this was not enough for Blades who needed 8 wins to clinch the 3rd seed, or finish with 7 wins and not clinch a Playoff berth at all.

Playoff Matchups:[/u]

(3) Jotuns (8-6-0) triumphed over (2) Board of Education (9-5-0) by a score of 45-30, who will have a pivotal rematch in the first round of the Playoffs. Will this be a foreshadow of what's to come this week or will BoE defy the odds and bounce back from a head-to-head defeat of Jotuns in the final week of the regular season? Stay tuned for an exciting matchup this week!

(1) The Immortalz (10-4-0) surprisingly lost a meaningless game to the disappointing (9) Enlightened Posse (6-8-0), who was quite sporadic all season long by going on winning streaks and losing streaks alike. However, Enlightened Posse's inconsistent play cost him a shot at the Playoffs by 2 whole games, who had a solid points for total of 755 points but lost too many pivotal games to have a legitimate shot at the Playoffs.

(1) The Immortalz meanwhile cruised to a Playoff berth 3 weeks in advance, and looks to defeat the resurgent (4) Dirtsheet (who again has a measly points for figure of 533 - a farcry to all of the 7-7-0 teams who missed out on the Playoffs but due to Dirtsheet's superior record of 8-6-0, he qualified due to his record). Dirtsheet's Cinderella run may come to a screeching halt when he meets heavy favourite The Immortalz in a first round matchup that many say Dirtsheet shouldn't have even qualified due to his embarassing point total, but by virtue of his superior record, beat out all of the .500 teams that all had way higher point total than Dirtsheet.

Can (4) Dirtsheet perform a major upset over the juggernaut and heavy favorite (1) The Immortalz? Or will things go as expected as The Immortalz looks to annihilate Dirtsheet?

And can (2) Board of Education defeat (3) Jotuns in the other 1st round Playoff matchup in a rematch of the final regular season game which saw Jotuns defeat BoE to qualify for the Playoffs? Or will Jotuns repeat his amazing feat?

Stay tuned for some gut wrenching must see Playoff matchups this week!

Good preview!

Board is going down though! You can probably just edit that in there. :)
