We've got some people already back in school and some starting back quite soon. Some in high school, some in college, and maybe a couple in middle school. Personally, I'm going to be a sophomore in college. This is my schedule (with my major being general studies)

English 213 (Survey of American Literature) MWF 10:00-10:50
Art 121 (Drawing I) MW 12:00-1:40
Psychology 101 (Gen. Psych) MWF 2:00-2:50
Math 105 (Elements of Math) Tu Th 12:30-1:45
And I had signed up for English 251 (Creative Writing) for Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:15 but it's gone from my schedule which leads me to believe there were not enough students in the class.

But yeah, that's my schedule for this semester at least. Not too bad at all.

General Studies is a major? Like, do you get a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies, or what? I can't imagine that being useful for a career.

17 credit hours this semester... effectively all of my extracurricular activities and hobbies are going to be stopped.

Matrices & Linear Algebra               MW  2:00p-3:15p
Dynamic Systems II                      TTh     9:30a-10:45a
Intro to Engineering Materials          TTh  2:00p-3:15p
Automotive Power Plants                 Th  7:00p-9:45p
Thermal/Fluids Lab                      F       9:30a-10:45a
                                        M  5:00p-7:45p
Global Connections                      TTh     11:00a-12:15p

Thursdays really suck, with three classes in the morning and then a three hour lecture at night, but whatever. Also irritating is that that lab, which is four hours a week plus like 10-12 per week to write the memos and reports, is 2 credits.

Yeah, I loved San Andreas, but it was just such a black game. :x Like. Eh, I dunno, it was all so frickin' black, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of Vice City more.

My schedule for 3rd year Pharmacy:

Monday:
09:35 - 10:25    Women's Health Issues Lecture (Medicinal Chemistry)
10:35 - 11:25    Skills Lab Lecture
12:05 - 01:55    Problem-based Learning Tutorial

Tuesday:
09:30 - 11:55    Skills Lab III

Wednesday:
09:35 - 10:25    Women's Health Issues Lecture (Therapeutics)
10:35 - 11:25    Women's Health Issues Lecture (Biopharmaceutics)
12:05 - 01:55    Problem-based Learning Tutorial

Thursday:
09:30 - 11:55    Critical Appraisal Series Lecture (Stats/Studies/etc.)
10:35 - 11:25    Critical Appraisal Series Lecture (More stats!)

Friday:
09:35 - 10:25    Women's Health Issues Lecture (Biopharmaceutics)
10:35 - 11:25    Women's Health Issues Lecture (Therapeutics)
12:05 - 01:55    Problem-based Learning Tutorial

And that's it for the first few couple of weeks. How it works in Pharmacy is that you take on one big unit at a time and study that exclusively until it's finished before tackling the next unit. We start off with Women's Health Issues in the beginning - and learn about the therapeutics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, and med chem about it, then take a final exam on it, then start off fresh with a new subject and learn the therapeutics, biopharmaceutics, etc of that. Rinse, lather and repeat. While this is going on we also take a Critical Appraisal Series (CAS) class, which just teaches us how to evaluate clinical studies and randomized control trials so that we can interpret them with confidence (hahaha... stats pun). We also take a weekly lab where we practice counselling mock patients in various situations about the drugs we are learning about.

Third year units:
- Women's Health Issues
- Cardiovascular Disease
- Endocrine Disorders
- CNS & Behavioural Disorders
- Pain & Rheumatology
- Infectious Diseases

Overall Pharmacy is very fun! This year is supposed to be the heaviest and hardest out of all four so I've already been pre-reading a little bit about some of these units. I already love Cardio (my dad is a cardiologist) and I've been trying to memorize women's health stuff because I'm obviously at a disadvantage by not having a vagina (my class is over 85% female!!!) and there are only 90 of us in the class.

It's a 2 year program for an Associates of Arts in General Studies. It's intended for students who plan to transfer out into a four year school after the two year community college program.

oh man my schedule sucks so much. the counsellor at the honors scheduling conference was such a pig-headed bitch and she was like NO EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE ALREADY ACADEMICALLY A SOPHOMORE YOU MUST BE THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE so I got stuck with 15 credit hours of real class (3 classes basically) and the Social & Behavioral Sciences Survey course that I have to take for basically introduction into my individual program's protocol is like, which is 45 minutes 3 times a week so gay.

but yeah

Anthro H200 - Intro to Physical Anthropology MW 9:30a - 11:18
Perisan 101 - Introductory Farsi MTWRF - 11:30a - 12:18
Music 206.01 - Jazz Band/Combo MTWRF 2:30p - 3:18 (maybe, I have to try out for this)
SBS H100 - College of Social & Behavioral Sciences Survey Course MWF 3:30p-4:18
Math HN148 - Algebra III & Trig MW 5:30p-7:18

thats right, on Monday and Wednesday I start at 9:30am and I'm not done till after 7 pm, but on tuesday thursday friday I have 1 real class and its at 11:30 lol

Going into my first real semester at uni (I took 2 classes in the summer term which was about a month and a half)

CMPLXSYS 281- Complex Systems: Emergent Challenges- M/W 8:30-10 Th 5-6
PHIL 180- Intro to Logic- M/W 3-4 M 4-5
LHSP 125- College Writing- T/Th 10:30-Noon
LHSP 130- Arts and Writing I- T/Th 1-2:30

My 8:30 class will suck but it seemed like a really interesting subject. Also my Arts and Writing course is on comics which I think is pretty cool because I've never really approached them from an academic standpoint before. On Tuesdays I don't even need to leave my dorm if I don't want to, both of my LHSP courses are part of a program that has all of the classes in the dorm.

I guess I am the only highschooler left (oh no!)

Senior year at highschool looks like this:

AP Calculus
AP Composition
AP Macro Economics
AP Chemistry
AP French
Wind Ensemble (best band in my school, there are three bands that you audition for [Symphonic ][/Symphonic] and is basically an AP class)
Jazz Ensemble (another audition band, and basically another AP class)

I am mostly trying to do AP classes for college credits, and I am going to try to get into the University of Washington Honors program, which requires even less required college courses or something like that, I only know a little about it.
