Alright, the text resizing this is really cool, if you guys haven't checked that out yet.
Still messing around with it...

Edit: CTRL+SHIFT+N = Incognito mode + slightly better skin

You're probably using an outdated FireFox.

Using FireFox 3.0, there is.

i have firefox 3.0

Yeah, Incognito mode does have a way better skin. I think I'll just use it from now on regularly.

Quote from: From Google
For times when you want to browse in stealth mode, for example, to plan surprises like gifts or birthdays, Google Chrome offers the incognito browsing mode.
Yeah, I'm sure that's what most people will use incognito mode for...  :gwa:  :naughty:

Ooh, you can slide the tabs around and even bring them down and out - upon which they'll show up as a thumbnail preview, and then will show up in windowed mode if you let go of it on the screen. Pretty neat.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you

Yeah this whole program, and the comic too, has so many easter egg jokes and stuff. It's pretty refreshing to see the company having such a cool sense of humor integrated in its products.

I'm waiting for add-ons and things, but in the meantime I don't really mind this skin.

Now that is awesome. I like how it uses two different shades of the orange colour - one for the active found word and another colour for all other instances of the word. (Pfft.. it's telling me that colour is spelled wrong... Is there any way to disable the spell checker? I'm confident in my own spelling ability and these underlined words just irritate me.)

I dunno, I just thought it was neat. The way Firefox does it sucks.

I just noticed that if something crashes in one tab, you can close that tab without the rest of the browser crashing. That's something the other browsers don't actually have.
This still isn't that fast for me though. =(

yea thats why they separated the processes. If you read the comic linked in the OP you find all the features...

Try restarting your PC.

Well, I liked how light-weight it was, but overall it didn't seem that outstanding to me, and I couldn't notice any difference in speed over Opera 9.5.

Although, the whole multi-process tab thing sounds good, and could be a new great little thing.

Google is full of some pretty smart and analytical people, and I wouldn't be suprised if by the time this is finished, it ends up doing most things better than what we already have. Thankfully, it's open source, so any advancements they make will eventually drive the other browsers to adopt and improve.

I never really liked the look of Opera, so this is probably going to be my primary browser now.

I like it. Its quick, has a light footprint and the transition was painless with all of my bookmarks & passwords from firefox.
I'm going to give it some time before I permanently replace firefox though.

Bob this might be a stupid question but is firefox running when you are trying to do this?

also is it actually installed on your computer are you somehow using a standalone exe or something of that nature? did you somehow NOT install Firefox but are just running it?

also i am using it right now! i actually kind of like it, it has a nice clean interface and I have to say so far it performs fairly well for how fucking beta this shit is.
