I'm waiting for VirusTotal to check it for viruses, since it's an exe file that I found on an upload service.

Damn, it was a screen saver/wallpaper installer that I found, not the game.
No viruses though.

I give up.
Google gives me 561,000 results for pokemon.exe and I can't check them all.
That and there are viruses and trojans with that same name, which complicates the search even further.

So, if you find a file called pokemon.exe which is 2.62 MB and VirusTotal tells you it's safe, then maybe if you're lucky, that will be the game you're looking for.

I don't know if it's been said yet but most if not all the filefront links (at least for me) aren't working. Whether it's filefront's fault or the links are corrupt, I'm not sure. But I'm in the mood to grab Legendary Adventure and it's really becoming a pain to find it and wow, it's been forever since I've been on this website...

EDIT: Okay, looks like you guys obviously know of the problem. I feel a bit of a newbie not reading the last page, but eh, my bad. Do any of the uploaders have any megaupload links or whatever at the very least up?

None of the demos and media for COMMERCIAL games seem to have been removed.

You def initially deserve it if you've been doing that to everybody who asks coming in. Anyway trying to get the old game to work, but everytime I boot up there is no font at all (though I'm working on this, could be a minor glitch) but the main one that gets me is I can't move the selection. You know start game, load, end game. I can't move up, down or enter. As much as I remember from the old days, entering the game was as easy as pressing the enter key and watnot?

Am I missing something here?

Also, could the font thing have something to do with the Rpgmaker 2000 setup freezing on the "installing fonts" section?

EDIT: Got the fonts working again, so I only have the "up/down/left/right" keys problem left! Apparently entering the game is z, x, c, v, b, n, m, home/end and alt. I'm confused.

But that's weird that you need to use the alternative buttons.

I just tried the same copy of that game and the arrow, Enter, and space bar buttons work for me.
My gamepad works too.

If you have a gamepad and can't get it to work directly with RPGMaker games, you can use XPadder to map buttons on your keyboard to your gamepad.

You have to pay for the latest version of Xpadder.
But the old 5.3 version is still free:

And lovely! Tried Legendary Adventure after that uninstall/reinstall, font's are gone again! This is really starting to be a pain in my rear, haha. Lucky for me that I'm patient. Going to take me awhile to fix whatever is wrong here. But the controls are really what I'm worrying about.

Would there be any reason why they all are glitching like they are for me?
