the mars volta rule. i like a few songs off of bedlam but yeah i agree bedlam in goliath as a whole is really really masturbatory. tremulant/deloused/frances/majority of amputechture tho i don't really think are masturbatory at all.

also i don't like prog at all and i don't really consider TMV to be 'prog.' at least because to me, even if their music is technically progressive, they don't sound similar at all to the majority of other prog bands.
