This looks exactly like the any army based FPS. COD, MOH, SOF, whatever. They're all really really fucking stupid games yet you guys still lap them up despite playing virtually the exact same game one year earlier(seriously any fan of the previous mentioned series really cannot complain about this game). Uwe Boll will never come up with some amazing and original idea. You KNOW that, so don't get so worked up over it as if you expected an UWE BOLL game to be the next Deus Ex. Besides, It's instantly more original than COD and MOH because you're not shooting Nazis. Nazis have appeared in more videogames than Health Bars.

I didn't expect him too, but that doesn't mean I can't hate it for mediocrity like I do everything else you mentioned.

Also, I am a fan of COD4 but hate all the other ones. Then again COD4 is in Modern times and different enough compared to most other army FPS because of this, plus the Achievement reward system & perk system are different that it at least tried something new in that department.

It also told a pretty good story that didn't end so well, which I gotta commend it for.

This is a great moment in video game history.

Apparently the movie is supposed to be actually watchable.  Variety gave it a surprisingly good review as did JoBlo.  (Not amazing or anything but medicore)

I'm impressed the graphics don't look like crap right away. However, once I saw him firing the weapons I realized how easily the gameplay could still be some bland FPS shit. Depending on what aspects of the game he's working on (uwe boll), only those aspects will suck hard. I'm assuming hes just working on the story at this point, and is nowhere involved in gameplay or any sort of programming. So saying the game will suck shit just because uwe boll is involved is really insultive to everyone ELSE working on the game, even though we all hate uwe boll and want to see him fail miserably.

What are you talking about?  Up until Half-Life, FPS levels were little more than "start here, hit the button at the end of the level."  Half-Life eliminated this, creating a much more realistic level structure with much smoother flow.  Half-Life was truly the first modern FPS.
