Yeah I watched the latest episode a bit later than everyone else.

Maybe Nathan WAS indeed born with abilities, but his father hugged him and they were gone afterward. Then he got the injection and everything was well again.

The only reasonable explanation to this could be that Nathan has a power like Sylar. Sylar's power was never detected by any markers (they thought he was a Telekinetic). Seeing how powers develop later in life he could be a missing link.

Btw, it's a shame that Mr. Petrelli's power is only working when he touches someone. If not, his telepathic powers wouldn't even have to be his. If his powers worked a little bit diffrent, it could be that Maury was using his power to comunicate with Arthur, being affraid of Arthur.

This would make my theory have more scence in the way that Arthur is just collecting a bunch of people to get their powers. Which results in collecting Matt, solely for this powers, so Maury didn't have to give them to Arthur.

I would love to see how Tracy, Nathan and Matt kick Arthur's ass. In my opinion they make a nice team. I like Tracy (esspecially after she mislead Mohinder in touching her). Nathan was always a smarter character and Matt is just so cudely friendly.

In my opinion it's a shame Peter allways had the save the world. He's pretty stupid, falls for every trick and doesn't seem to notice how stupid he is in every damn situation. It's much like Goku and Naruto, which I also hate, because they act so damn stupid, but because they are so powerfull it doesn't matter.

I'm getting more respect for Claire, because she actually acts more smart as time flows on, she's really growing with her powers. The last episode is a good example for this. I would love to see her walk in with a bombbelth to get rid of some people.

Intelligence > power, in my opinion. I would rather see a smart person use his seemingly useless powers than a dumb person always get away with his mistakes, because he's so damn powerfull.

Only Hiro, in my opinion can act a bit stupid, he's a funny character and doesn't really seem dumb, only a bit childish. Peter however has a bunch of cool powers and allways seem to use them in a wrong way.

Im hating Mohinder in this season... what do you guys think is actually going on with him? The people he seems to have webbed(sp) are they dead or possibly still alive?

I've been thinking about Peter getting all his power stripped, and I don't think it makes much sense, since the show made a big deal about him gaining Sylar's power in the futre, so I think he still has Sylars power. Back in season one Chandra Sueresh couldn't detect Sylar's power of intuitive aptitude. When Sylar was capture by the Company they couldn't trace his intial power or any of they aquired powers except for telekinesis. In season 2 when Sylar was infected with the Shanti virus which strips evolved human of their powers, Sylar was unable to use any of his powers except for intuitive aptitude, which is being used when ever you hear his trademark clock ticking noise. So I think Sylars power works differently then the other evolved humans, and thats why it was so important for Peter to aquire this power in the future.

Also, after Sylar was cured from the Shanti virus he was only abe to acess telekiness, all of his other powers were lost. (Hearing, radiation, freezing...) Telekinesis is Sylars first and most used accuired power. So maybe Peter still has one power left.

No I dont think all of Sylars power were lost after he recieved the Shanti virus, remember when peter heads into the future Sylar after losing his child explodes from the radiation ability he picked up from season 1. Although the timeline has changed, the Shanti virus wouldnt have effected him any differently. At the end of season 2 when sylar injects himself with the antidote, we are left with sylar using his telekinesis to pick up the can as a cliff-hanger signifying he has his powers back..

yea he cured himself from the shanti virus, and he did lose his intuitive aptitude while he had it as shown by him being unable to take candice's power at the beginning of season 2.

Him not being able to use Candices power is because of the virus, but he can still use aptitude because he knows how her power work he just can't use it. The aptitude also kicks in when he's talking to Derek, the guy with Maya and Alejandro. YOu here the trademark ticking and then he kills him.

the ticking is just his "theme" used when he is plotting or something. there isnt anything in that sequence that requires the use of his power to understand things at all. nor does he require it when he kills the guy, or multiple other times when the ticking is heard. think of it more as darth vader's imperial march than like "HEY HE IS USING HIS POWER"

But isn't that what Sylar's power is, it's more then just knowing how powers work, he knows how objects work and possibly even situation. But either way, they dedicated an episode for peter to aquire sylars power, there must have been a reason and it wouldn't make much sense for it it to just be stolen an episode later.

The whole reason Peter was sent to get Sylars power was so it couldn't get taken away by his dad. I mean it's not like he randomly went to the future to get his power, he was told to get his power by someone who knew what would happen if he didn't. Makes sense.

Thats what I'm saying. Sylar's power works differently then everyone elses that why it was needed.

So will peter have to open someone's skull to steal their powers?

I reckon near the end of this season Peter just might get all his powers back from his dad... he will be killing his dad and recieving his powers back so its a two for one deal.
