Which is a massive problem, because parents seem to want to give their children the opportunities they never had as children (i.e. give in to their every desire). Maybe, there was a *reason* that you didn't get what you wanted as a child. Maybe, not giving in to your children teaches them that they don't always make the best decisions. It also teaches them how to handle disappointment. Lots of legislation's getting passed in Australia to put less responsibility on parents and more on society (i.e. sex education in schools, $4000 for having a baby, paid maternity leave). Parents need to take responsibility for their children. Because they're *your* goddamn kids.
