G.I. Joe

It was a typical summer action flick. I liked it enough, but I probably won't remember it by next week. Tatum was SEVERELY miscast though. Jesus Christ.

Marlon Wayans was surprisingly not terrible. He was actually fairly decent. His part easily could've been played by someone like Tyrese Gibson or any other token black actor and it wouldn't have made much of a difference, but, I believed his character. He got the job done.

ratatouille. I hadn't watched it until now because it never seemed very interesting to me, "rat likes to cook" seems like a pretty stupid gimmick. but it was vgood if a little cheesy at times, especially whenever remy argued with his father.

"anyon ecan cook...'

that's what i thought too at first. i was like "Cyrus? Jonas? eghhh" but the voices are actually really good. they work well for the characters and the voice actors are talented. just ignore the names and enjoy the show. although try not to get angry when you hear the credits song (it starts out catchy and cute but then it gets, uh... very "Disney channel")

I just watched the entirety of Harper's Island on netflix and wow I loved it!

I don't know if it was done any better than a 2 hour slasher mystery, but I think the fact that they spread it out into a series made it much better! I would def. recommend this show if you are a slasher or whodunit fan.

I can't remember which one I saw more recently, Dragonball or Happy Gilmore.

Dragonball was hilarious, everyone watching kept saying "I'm Yamcha" for like 3 days afterwards.

Happy Gilmore was funny, I don't know why I didn't see it earlier.

Transsiberian. Thriller with Woody Harrelson playing a pretty geeky husband which - to me - is pretty awkward since I'm used to seeing him running around with a cow on his shoulders and shooting people.
This movie was pretty good and got even better after the first half. It's about this couple travelling with the transsiberian train from china to moskva. I never thought I'd wanna visit Russia ever and this movie kinda set that in stone lol. Siberia is like the scariest country ever. Great movie for people who are unsure if they wanna get on the transsiberian railway. Don't do it lol.

edit
Didn't wanna make an own topic for it but if anyone happens to find english SUBS for a movie called Charleston & Vendetta (think Lesbian Porn mixed with a Terry Gilliam movie) please tell >_>

I'd recommend this movie for anyone who likes to see Nazi's brutally killed and tortured. I'm normally pretty squeamish but I honestly felt pleasure seeing Nazi faces being carved with knives.

It's a blast from beginning to end. Tarantino sets up tension incredibly well. There were moments where I blinked and all of a sudden the whole movie went haywire, and shook me up so much that i would go "oh shit" out loud. It's a fantastic ride, it's so well crafted. The music, the clashes between so many different styles of film making that really settle together so well. I could go on and on about this movie, but all I need to say is it is genius. The actors, the music, blah blah, everything. It's meshed together into a simple masterpiece. I've never felt so good after seeing a movie in a theater before.
