nice shoulders.

hopefully my guild (bunch of slackers) will be at Illidan soon. currently we have 7 bosses down in BT, with council and Illidan left, obviously. also imo Magisters' Terrace is a pretty awesome instance. the cinematic with the orb is nice, too.

To be fair I don't even know how they think up some of these encounters. The first real raid boss I ever fought was the end guy in ZG, and I thought to myself "Man how the fuck do they think this up? Hey how about you have to go pull these random mobs from nearby and then use the debuff they give you to hurt the boss! Moreover how did players even figure out how to do that?"

Also darkspear horde is where the cool kids(me) are at.

You play darkspear horde?  Wow, I played on that server from like 2006 until this March.

This is probably the gayest question ever but does anyone JUST BY CHANCE happen to know why Multisampling won't save its settings on my PC? If someone could try to change theirs and see if it saves that would be great. It doesn't matter much but I'd much rather have the right setting by default than have to change it every single time I log in...

chat windows are weird, especially new combat log, every time you rezone it turns your filters and shit to default

Cool UI as far as raid UIs go but can you answer me something

why do all raiders' custom uis have like 4 bars of silly icons? Like, if you're up to your eyes in addons anyway why wouldn't you get spellbinder or something so you can get rid of all the icons for non-cooldown abilities?

well, for a time as a rogue i just had a mod that showed a little timer for all my cooldowns, and got rid of my bars completely except for a button for bags, and one for food, simply because it's a class where you can bind pretty much everything you'd ever need to use, ability-wise.  and it was cool!  i had a lot of free screen space and it was great for raiding.  but what it came down to is, eventually i missed the way BUTTONS looked.  i always liked rogue ability buttons, since they were all just some form of stabbing or another.

so i guess it boils down to aesthetics.  i tried it with no bars, and it was nice, but ultimately you just sort of want your cool buttons back.

So, those Sunwell dailies have really sucked a lot of the (solo) fun out of the game for me. I don't know why. I mean on one hand I can just constantly build Frost Grenades and Arcane Bombs and be an eccentric asshole when I pvp, but at the same time I never really feel like I accomplish stuff when I'm solo'ing now. Before I'd mine a Dawnstone or something and it'd be a big deal for the day's profits, but now like blues drop for me and I'm all "yawn i could be doing bombing runs right now"

I don't know. It was an odd move to make money so accessible, since now so many people are going to be sitting on 10k gold when the expansion comes out.
