nope

The reason I don't like outland isn't because the zones themselves are bad because they're not, they're much better than nearly every azeroth zone. Design wise though TACKING ON another absolutely different world to your established fantasy world is so bad especially as a first expansion. It's emptied azeroth entirely (apart from orgrimmar, ironforge and just outside karazhan) and no amount of lore in the world could stop it feeling like they wanted to start over altogether rather than add to and improve what they'd already made.

It's not like there aren't 5 or so unreachable zones on kalimdor and eastern kingdoms and other islands besides. Just gay. Every time I go do shit in outland it feels like I'm quitting wow and playing something else.

i didn't think they were tacking it on.  hasn't outlands existed for a long time now?  it's not like they just came out all of a sudden and were like HEY GUYS HOW ABOUT WOW: ADVENTURES IN THE ELVEN CATACOMBS and just made some shit up and sent you there.  i understand your complaint about it turning azeroth outside of 4 basic areas into a ghost town, because it did and that's pretty dumb, but outlands is a pretty legit place to send people, in terms of the story or whatever.  that dark portal's been there since the game came out.  northrend seems the same way, from what i know about WOW LORE (not much).

whaaaaaat?  i can't believe you prefer plaguelands to zangarmarsh.  giant mushrooms, dude.  GIANT MUSHROOMS.  it's the best!  plaguelands were cool when i was level 45 and saw screenshots of ash adventuring through them and was still mystified by strat/scholo and just couldn't wait to get there, but aside from that, those are actually two zones i completely detest, save tyr's hand and how handy it was as a farming/world pvp spot.  maybe it's because i'm not the biggest wc fan, and didn't have any attachment to the zones before going there, but i felt more MOVED or whatever when i first entered terokkar and discovered some giant fucking city i never expected to see and was all like "GUYS THERE'S A HUGE CITY HERE WITH SHIT TO DO" in guild chat, than i ever was in any of the historic places on azeroth like uh... idk, westfall or something.

because i dont play often enough to have 5000 gold

also i never got the ogri'la dailies OR the netherwing dailies because burning legion was a fail server and i could never get into groups to get them or whatever

yeah once you get your mount theres no reason to do anything so i dont care

i can do hardcore sunwell dailies for like 3 or 4 days max then its like IM QUITTING WOW THIS TIME FOR REAL
