the kids in southshore's ages are their levels, and so is everyone else.

herod is 14 in southshore, making him 21 in sm, which makes sense.

btw why would the dragonflight be trying to stop the opening of the dark portal if they're corrupted by the burning legions again? because, you know, that sounds like it makes zero sense and is just someone trying to justify stupid inconsistencies in lore! or am i wrong? because tbh i don't follow this shit.

because if they failed to send orcs into azeroth, they would have found another way to send in shit that wouldn't FAIL MISERABLY

or at least that is what people say on the forums

also the universe would blow up because of paradoxes etc etc

To be fair, no Dark Portal means no Ner'zhul.

No Ner'zhul means no Lich King, no Lich King means theres no Scourge, etc.

We'd be better off, imo!

Because if the Dark Portal didn't open, the events that would of formed the team that would of held off the Burning Legion wouldn't of happend.

If the team didn't form, the Burning Legion would of crushed the Azeroth defenses and took the planet over.

"no Ner'Zhul"

God you could go on for ages about how the stuff that would prevent from happening.

The Infinity Dragonflight are nothing more than bit part villains there to provide something to permit the Caverns of Time to be opened to "adventurers". Lorewise the whole Caverns of Time is a contrivance anyway, ie "WE'RE BEING INVADED BY A MYSTERIOUS FORCE, ONLY EMPLOYING RANDOM ADVENTURERS WILL SAVE US". I doubt very much they have any ties with anything else in the main story, and I also doubt their true nature will ever be explained (probably because Blizzard hasn't bothered giving them a background), if anything it will be "bronze dragonkin that split from Nozdormu and used their powers for evil lolz".

It depends. If someone were trying to either start or complete the oats quest at the time, it would probably cause a huge rift in the space-time continuum, assuming there's not someone along to resurrect her. Maybe there's a timer involved. so many possibilities...

I think it would be pretty cool (and hugely annoying!) if every time someone failed one of the instance quests, the server went down because of inconsistencies in timelines.

I don't think it's shock so much as ARGH BLIZZARD.

It's nice to see other developers being inspired by WoW, but.. That is a little too obvious.

Yeah, because if anyone invented dwarven cities built into the mountains, it's Blizzard.

I'm not saying Blizzard came up with it first, but the city Jester posted really resembles Ironforge. What I'm getting at is that they've seemed to have been influenced by Blizzard's approach to Dwarven cities rather than someone else, obviously based on the success of WoW.
