so? it's still a common green drink ingredient that looks "gross" and is pretty healthy no matter how you look at it which is what I was getting at.
in what world is spirluna a common drink ingredient? spirluna is sold as flakes and as pills dude, how is that something for smoothies; the flakes are put on food and the pills are taken like vitamins. its also not common at all.

edit: yeah I checked, no one talks about it in non flake, powder, or pill form. I think you're confusing spirluna with something else! also saying PRETTY HEALTHY is misleading. to quote the UC Berkely Wellness report, or just my previous link:
Blue-green algae is not a medicine or a good source of nutrients. The few nutrients in blue-green algae are more plentiful and cheaper in foods.
like yeah saying SPINACH YUUUCK is dumb but spirluna isn't a smoothie ingredient!
