Around Blacks, never Relax.

I actually know the end of the game. A Jill Valentine clone is made by the only continuous villain in Resident Evil from the parasite/virus/ whatever else they can pull out of their ass (ALIENS!!!), and it ends in a cliff hanger after some final boss ass wooping and possible love scenes between Chris and the girl following him around with a gun.

I still think Leon had gone slightly insane after his experience with Zombies in Raccoon City (opinion on RE4).
A tool is a tool regardless. I mean if you suck, you suck, and not even the most perfect tool could save you. And if your damn good then even with the worst tool ever conceived you could chug out some high quality shit.

Jill Valentine = Ellen Ripley?

Will Jill give birth to a zombie queen?

i am curious if anyone is actually offended by the location and portrayl of people in this game?

I am being serious. I haven't seen or watched much about this. Are people offended by it?

I was more offended when RE took place in midwest America.  The depiction of white zombies was appalling!

I don't think this has been posted anywhere on the boards yet.  I can't wait until this game is finally released.  If it's at least as good as RE4, then it's going to keep me entertained for quite awhile.

Man, I love the plot in Resident Evil because it's clear Capcom hires high schoolers but it's okay because it's intentionally bad.

It's not like they're trying to make something good and failing, they're trying to fail and succeed.  I used to think completely opposite of this until I learned that Biohazard is always in English with Japanese subtitles because Capcom wants the game to feel like an undeniably campy 1960s American horror film.

Wow they actually had the courtesy of adding a strafe function...still sucks that i cannot move when I want to shoot some dudes, but i guess strafing is somewhat helpful either way. I must say Capcom also made your partner's AI pretty damn good, I noticed her get head shots 80% of the time when I gave her the sniper rifle and she acted like as if another person would be playing....that is until she just stood there while a chainsaw wielding psycho came up to her and chopped her fucking head, while i kept telling her to come to me. Otherwise, it plays almost exactly like RE4 other than some minor additions and a somewhat changed control system but its not too different but that is the way i like it!

Yeah the demo is legitimately available for download today only (well, yesterday and the day before too, but today is the last day it's available FOR NOW)

I tried it since it's only like 500MB and was very unimpressed. The graphics are nice and all, but everything feels CLUNKY. You can't move around when aiming, aiming itself just feels slow and tedious, in general the game felt like a third person shooter from like eight years ago. after Gears of War, even GRAND THEFT AUTO 4, I don't really have patience for RE5's controls and they could definitely make/break the game. To be fair, I didn't spend much time with it either, but I was pretty turned off.

What do you expect, Rowain? It's a Resident Evil game. Clunky controls is what the series is known for. If you take that out, it will feel like any other game out there, especially now that there are no zombies.

I had some problem with the controls at first but I've played the demo a few times now and I've gotten used to them. It reminds me of how much fun RE4 was.

I was HORRIBLY dissapointed after playing that... You say being able to aim and move would make it like any other game out there, especially with no zombies... BUT THAT'S ITS PROBLEM. It's a NORMAL game given these terrible controls which do not work with such a game (especially as it's not survival horror anymore).

Such a piece of crap.

Still feels like a Resident Evil game (which it still is), so I'm happy.

Co-op is really fun too... at least with a friend.

Compare the old games controls with the last two. They aren't really that different at all. The main difference is the camera.

It's always been the same core in terms of controls.

Is that a massive spoiler in the MIDDLE OF A MAGAZINE??? Because that's really, really funny if that's what that's from (instead of some promotional material or something)

Nah, not much of a spoiler. The shot of her tombstone is in the trailers as well.

Hahah, you can't see the death date on the tombstone because it is cleverly placed on the fold.  SPECULATE

The shot of the tombstone in the trailer reveals the date though: 1974 - 2006
