These are all pictures of places in my hometown that were taken on new year's day by myself and a friend. It was sub zero at the time so we were pretty daaamn chilly.

There's this way you can climb around the supports of the marine lake bridge to get into this little jail. When I was 12 we went under there with 4 boxes of smokebombs and shouted things like "I can see up your skirt!" through the cracks in the wood.


This is the rail terminus, I like taking pictures of railway lines as they have some sort of decaying beauty about them.


These were a good find, it's pretty amazing what you can tell about a place from its graffiti.


These are the trains that connect us to the city, which is where I go to uni. When I go back I am gonna get my friend to come take photos with me there also.

My friend, my brother is working 2 hours from me and has just posted on facebook that the temperature there is -39 Degrees Celsius before the windchill. Given the typical windchill around here, I'd say he's working in about -47 weather or worse.

It was -41 before windchill this morning where I am. Lucky for me though, I don't work outside like him.

They were taken with a DSLR camera which is a lot more fun to take pictures with cause it feels like a proper camera as opposed to one that folds away.

I live in a seaside town just north of Liverpool which is wear I go to uni.

I wanna capture similar places in film but I have nowhere near enough £££ for a sweet HD camcorder.
