@Twin:
Especially loving the splash of water at the front; it really adds some serious dynamic to it. c: Great stuff as always.

@Nessiah:
That's a pretty cool layout, with a consistent style too. I'm curious as to what each panel represents, though?

Maybe some other time.

@Twin Matrix: Awesome ghost ship!
@Nessiah: I don't know what it is but something is not right about that screen, I mean it doesn't look like it all 'fits' in together. Actually I think it's just those orbs with the black outlines.

@Nessiah: It doesn't fit together because of the various different styles used; the icons are very pronounced and have black lines while the battlers are much more detailed. However, both of them at least are obviously works of pixel skill, whereas the actual menu bits are ARROWS POINTING IN EVERY DIRECTION I am guessing someone made by overusing the gradient tool in Photoshop. Get someone will pixel art knowledge to draw more crisp menu pieces for you.

@Twin Matrix: Although it doesn't look too much like a boat anyone could actually sail through the water, it's still pretty great.

That, and the sword in the hand of the battler on the right. The blade is up too far, it should be more straight with the hilt.

Thanks. ^^

@Kae: Really? I based it on real ships. What's wrong with it?

it's far too square! real ships of the line were streamlined things of beauty. there's no way that would cut through the water.

@Twin Matrix: I think he's referring to the gaping holes in it.  If that were to actually make it out to see, water would fill the hull and sink it.  Unless, of course, it is a ghost ship.  In which case, you know, it can do whatever it wants.  It looks great, by the way.

@Twin:
Oh, now that Rockman mentions it, that's very true. Although to me it seems like it could be a triangle shape with the sharp end to the bottom, since there's a middle line there in the front-center. But yeah, it should be easier justified by just protruding the front for the streamlined design. Looks great none the less though. :)

This means we have to redesign everything and spend another half month to plan everything...again.
It's impossible to get help with pixel art knowledge nowadays too :v

I'll just fix the limit orb and change the battlers to their original form.
I'll try to do something with the arrows but that's all I could do.

Nessiah if your game is a left to right platform, it seems weird that the battles are right to left.

Also, just my opinion, but the names seem very japfaggy, for lack of a better word.

Game is set in Gensokyo, a fictional border set in Japan.
I did thought about the battles tho.

Thanks guys. The Waldo component is pretty fun to make, you should try it too!

@Nessiah:
Hm, personally I actually like the untextured version better, mainly since it meshes better with the background, character etc., all of which have smooth shading surfaces. Still a great design none the less though.
