Looks very nice, Dragol. The overlays completely change the mood which normally accompanies that chipset.

None taken, quite refreshing after all the shots from Secret Project eh? :naughty: ( It does actually have semi good maps, which the cast think look totally crappy because of that.  :shh: )





Hmmm.... The quality assurer wanted me to add a bit more flames to make it look like the building is ablaze. How's it look now?  :hmm:

That fire overlay is way too bright, MISTER BIG T. I'd recommend toning it down a bit. Those are flames, not neon lights.

I've been at it like a mad scientist, I cant stop trying to make it better... In an attempt to make enemies less predictable I am giving them their own special moves.

-Trying out a new character gfx I found
-You can now walk and attack at the same time
-If you get hit from the slime in a certain position, your character will autoface him so you dont have to walk away to get him
-Added blood when hero gets hit.
-Slime goes underground, you cant harm him until he reeapears.
-If he gets you on the way up, its a 5hp penalty (vs the 1 if he hits you normally), so its important to use the terrain to block him from getting to you.


This is interesting. Really.

I love the new title page Nessiah, as for the game itself! It certainly has a lot of improvements since the last time I've seen it, I don't like the new battle theme or voice acting, but everything else is kick ass! That town song sounds very familar...oh where have I heard it before from? Anyways! Everything looks great!  :fogetsmile:

Aten, the way the character portrait sticks out on the status screen looks vastly unprofessional :( Also that doesn't sound like he's saying SUPERSONIC FIST

@AZN: Your Abs system helped me figure out a lot of the stuff. I wanted to use yours originally, but the more I worked on my own system the more I started to take pride in my own work. Just gotta keep working until its better than yours ^_^ (a lot more work to do yet)

I know I'm terribly guilty of comparing my old stuff to my newer versions of said originals, but I feel it gets the point around further.

Working again on DoaDV, and decided to step away from the Swamp of the Lost until I can come up with a good idea for a dungeon
aside from just a winding snake-like cave. And so I've gone back to the Graveyard of Shadows (sigh, these names) and remapped
the dock, the graveyard, and the inside of the tomb used as a transition between the graveyard and the inner dungeon. The inner
tomb is more less a WIP, but I've got the feeling like not much will change for it aside from maybe a few more decorations.




And yes, the Graveyard of Shadows has its own island that is only accessible by boat, and only after you have completed the Greed
side of the main quest.

EDIT: Remapped the inside of the tomb, and now threw in a few skeletons that you can talk to -via- a disembodied voice.

The animation of Varsh in battle mode looks a little weird but I can't seem to out the finger where.

@Corfasius:You have really grow as a mapper man. Keep up the good work.
