@Jaffer: You don't have "amounts" of individual items, you have "numbers" of them. If I have four items, the number of items I have is four, not the amount. Otherwise, looks pretty solid!

Oh, the woes of not using the database for anything.  Although, I'm happy I've a fully functional menu now.  Wasn't as bad as I figured it'd be.

A game I'm working on for HBGames.org 5th anniversary contest.  All the graphics are custom, thanks to Piti :)​   It's a beat'em up game, pretty much like Noitu Love maybe?  The deadline is the 5th of next month so I'm hoping I can finish in time.

The game's name is Alice in Underground. Basically it's a twist of the classic Alice in Wonderland. 

Still lots left to do so I'd better work on it D:

But you have a typo. You just replace "shell" with "baboon", and you'll be fine.

I reduced the brightness by 30%.
Better, or too dark?  I don't wanna implement it then have to redo it!

@Jaffer: Yeah, looks good that way. I just realized that your menu looks almost exactly the same as the first good CMS I ever made. Of course there is no way you would have seen that or anything but the font/colour setup is almost the exact same. Weird. I guess it is an excellent route to follow, or something!

I like simplistic design... especially considering I've no artistic or design oriented abilities, I've got to go with what I can do.
I was aiming for a quick to navigate menu, though, and it was delivered.

I've also fixed a few internal bugs in the system that could potentially cause errors!

That's the new coloring in action.  I also added scroll arrows for the... well, scrolling menus.

Yeah, this was the same reason I went with grey-on-grey. Plus, I really like the font. ;D

It looks good, but a menu is a menu, once it works. Now let's see some gameplay to go along with it!


@MR BIG T SHIRT: That doesn't look anything like the interior of a room. You should really study other people's maps to figure out how basic environments are set up.
