I don't go off on anywhere near as many rants as you do. I'm also, generally, able to keep from capitalizing entire posts for the sake of emphasis. A lot of the time, when you start blasting away at someone it reminds me of the "Pierre Bernard's Recliner of Rage" segments from Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Something from over nine years ago when I was smart enough to know better but young enough not to care vs a consistent pattern of behavior. Thus far, unless this post does it, I've never gotten a warn here for bullshitting up someone's topic.

On topic -

The whole thing about being worked up because of the scene...it seemed almost funny, because it isn't as if Terminator: Salvation is Shakespeare or Tennessee Williams. It's an action blockbuster, so most people probably couldn't care less how well it is acted. But, if a person takes what they do seriously, then yeah, you do get worked up.

T3 was horrible. Terminator 2 was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. It was complete. T3 pissed all over it , it was just an attempt to cash in on something...there was blood left in the stone so they started squeezing. I'll still probably go see this new one though, because I'm a big fan of Christian Bale's work. Maybe it is solidarity among people with anger management issues, call it what you will, but I've enjoyed every movie of his that I've seen.

Also - He's Welsh. Bale generally uses an American accent during the promotion of American movies.

Honestly people annoy the fuck out of me at times, like I get furious, but you know what? I've NEVER once blown up at anyone. Like my head can be whirling but I have enough self-control not to blow up.

Now if it is something serious to the point that I really truly need to defend myself like that, I'm sure I will... but as of yet, when I get extremely pissed off I am still able to control myself. Even if I have one of the shittiest days ever, I haven't blown up in anyone's face/yelled at them for stupid shit/etc.


So I think it is manageable (and trust me, I don't have like small annoying stuff happen to me. There's lots of shit that's got me really stirred. My mother flips out basically every day in a bi-polar manner, starts yelling/cursing like this, etc. but I stand my ground.). I understand that the producer guy is being dumb for this, but Christian Bale is being a real idiot.


I really do believe that temper can be controlled even if you happen problems, so I think flipping out like that and blowing up in people's faces are really unnecessary.

Listening to the interviews with Bale when he uses a British accent is really disorientating in a way, especially since he did all the Dark Knight promos and interviews in an American accent...
I have to admit, his American accent is really good.

What's your point steel I don't get it. Everyone gets there's no single american accent but texan accent/new yorker accent blah blah are all american accents because they are accents specific to people in america. I mean it just kind of goes without saying. There's people talking about BRITISH ACCENT up in here and there's so many accents in england/scotland/ireland/wales you have no idea but they're all british even the one everyone considers neutral
