All I'm saying is that some people enjoy certain things. If it does not harm anybody, why not let them enjoy it? Why should they have to feel bad themselves for something they enjoy? I don't know how this is is not clear.

I'm not an idiot here, I understand scale. If I heard of somebody I knew playing Transformers, yes I would laugh and probably makes jokes. But I would not wish the person to feel bad about themselves. If they are enjoying themselves and are happy, good for them, they're doing better than most others in this world.

Nothing against saying gross. And saying "really?" isn't the same as wishing the person to FEEL BAD. My point is, YES, I WOULD want them to get better taste. But telling them to feel bad isn't going to help. Give them alternative suggestions instead of just LOL BLINK 182. Feel free to judge somebody if you want. I am completely comfortable with the music I listen to. I know some of it is good, I know some of it is bad, but I'm always trying to find more. Just because I find a band that is actually good, does not mean I'm going to stop listening Blink 182 if I still enjoy them.
