Well maybe I do but I will say it again, I'm not exactly at my happiest right now.  It's kind of hard to not respond to things so strongly when you're already upset to begin with, this was just added on top of it.  I just think that when I've already explained that I'm upset about it you shouldn't keep messing with someone, that's a really harsh thing to do!  I mean if Dissonance had said "hey guys could you stop it this is upsetting" I wouldn't have posted anything else about it, hell, even though I got frustrated by her continuing to defend the word nigger we still had a fairly straightforward conversation on IRC.  I just don't think it's cool to KEEP GOING after someone says they're done.  I was already upset, and so because you kept going it just made things worse and worse and my replies got worse and worse too.  I don't know if it's fair to judge someone's reactions based on something like that.

i started work at the capitol today and i met a lobbyist-type who took me and the two other interns to a fancy fundraising thing for a republican from miami where we got fancy quesadillas. then we went to a mental health conference at the top floor of the capitol building where they had bacon-wrapped steak on a stick and lobster and a fountain of chocolate you could dip things in because my professor happens to be a representative who was giving a speech at it.

when i introduced myself and said i was working for the ex-obama campaign manager they tried to win me over to their side. the mental health people were the fucking coolest though.
