I bought a drawing square today and I've been going around my room looking for ley lines. what I'm trying to say is it's solid and I like it, I think you guys have a lot of potential! and congrats on best album man that is nuts.

Just listened to it and I have to admit, I probably would have liked it a lot more if I was still into post-rock but it was still pretty good. Really liked Havenot and The Aftermath and even though this was kinda typical post-rock to me at least your sound was.. I dunno, noisier than most of post-rock? I also really liked some of the vocals. I don't really see the Radiohead or Aereogramme comparisons but this definitely reminded me of Ef a bit here and there.

a little part of me wants to keep the rolling stone thing going and post a fake interview and photoshop a magazine cover itd be hilarious.  But thatd make me an asshole and i just dont have the fortitude to do all that so
i am not being interviewed by rolling stone guys!

@Alec: yeah, I've heard that before, and I guess I have a TINY BIT of uncertainty about the vocal levels, but I think I like how they sit in the mix.

@ds: yeah, I think those comparisons are a bit more accurate.  Glad you like.  And yeah I think of us as post rock influenced but noisier.

yeah I thought he could be. rolling stone usually does throw an interview to random bands and ever since this one local band got promoted to insane degrees like two months after people were walking out of their shows (Annuals) I assumed the dude had a really good publicity engine.
