But how does it hinder his ability to do a good job?

The reason I said I was shocked is because people still seek validation in something so fantastically irrelevant. I'm pro-faith, but even hardcore athiests subscribe to this rubbish.

Along with Dian Fossey, famous for living with gorillas, and Biruté Galdikas, who advanced studies in orangutans, Goodall was one of three women recently dubbed by some as "Leakey's Angels".Goodall has been married twice. On 28 March 1964 she married aristocratic wildlife photographer Baron Hugo van Lawick at Chelsea Old Church, London, becoming Baroness Jane van Lawick-Goodall. The couple had a son, Hugo Eric Louis, affectionately known as 'Grub', who was born in 1967. They divorced in 1974. In 1975 she married Derek Bryceson (a member of Tanzania's parliament and the director of that country's national parks) and they remained married until his death in 1980. Jane and her younger sister, Judy, both suffer from prosopagnosia, a neurological condition which impairs the recognition of human faces.

A public servant doing the public's business in the public's eye has to have a good image or he/she will not have the public's support.

This entire topic is entertaining... despite the fact that I have little to no idea who any of the people that are being talked about here are. I barely know anything about the chimp lady, other then that she studied chimps for a ridiculously long time.

On the other hand, if you're British, you'd more than likely know more than is healthy about Jade Goody and virtually nothing about Jane Goodall (I admit, her name doesn't ring any bells).

I was tempted to read about Jane Goodall because of chef but I have read about her on Wikipedia before because I am obsessed with great apes. She manages a chimp society in which a chimpanzee in a troupe where everychimp has a name that starts with an F mated with his mother and had a son that they called Fred.

ps fred died after a year
