7 gigs is not really that big, and its not like pubaccess is growing exponentially. i dont see why you turned off pubaccess. at least just disable uploading why would you make it so we cant even SEE the images??

I know, its smsall but that's life.

Also I know there is some lag right now and I know how to fix it but I am not at home and cant access the server until I'm at home so please be patient thanks!

I can host pubaccess if you want to. Just setup pub.gamingw.net to point to my server at 213.239.216.39 and I'll take care of the rest when I have time (assuming the old server is still up so I can copy the pubaccess code + all the existing files).

EDIT. And we can then setup some sort of a simple PHP script that just redirects requests from gamigw.net/pubaccess to pub.gamingw.net to make sure old links don't break.

ramirez, that'd be awesome! The old server is still up and all the files are in the same place. You can ssh into the server and just grab it all as you see fit. Thanks

You can do it right now since pub.gamingw.net isn't used for anything atm, since it's been /pubaccess before.

Well didn't think of this before, but the problem is that pubaccess is integrated to the forums. I guess I could just copy the SMF files too and have it connect to the GW's db externally (doesn't really change anything, except it can't share logins, like even if you're logged in on forums, you still have to log in separately to the pubaccess).

does this affect avalanchestudios? i noticed the move, my avalanchestudios hosting has given me a bandwidth message, which is something that's never happened before.

no avalanchestudios.net is completely different thing (btw you should move your stuff away from avalanchestudios.net as i am gonna quit the hosting as soon as i get all my stuff sorted out from there, i posted a topic about this few months ago). the reason why it's giving the bandwidth exceeded message is because there's been tons of people who has downloaded Barkley this month.
