Also how can you live without icons on your desktop? I don't like having MANY on there sure, but idk it's nice to have a couple on there or else it feels like wasted space.

I've got everything I use frequently in my quick select.  I like how clean the empty space looks.

I would have made this a seamless edit of wallpapers but I decided not to. Even though the second monitor retains the height of 1200 pixels... it's physically smaller than my main monitor (by 2x5 inches) so it really didn't work for me. This works fine though.

Getting a cintiq tablet will add a third 'monitor' so my desktop will extend downwards from the main by 1200x800 or 1600x1200 pixels (I think, I forgot their exact specs) depending on whichever model I decide on getting.

Brb, gonna go get some post-it notes and a charcoal tie.

Icon filled desktops are ugly. The wallpaper is a peace of art that is sometimes nice to look at. I wouldn't destroy it with ugly icons. Also, there is no need for icons any longer when there are keystroke programs like gnome-do, launchy etc.
